Thanks! My husbands arm has been bothering him for close to two weeks and he thinks it is tendonitis. Of course it would help if he went to the doctor but ain't gonna happen until it gets too painful for him to stand it anymore. I have some lighter weight DBs at home. Maybe I can talk him into trying these.

could not sleep this am so went in for some fasted cardio, HITT on the treadmill 2.1 miles 30 minutes, held an 8 minute mile pace for 3 minutes at the end

Thinking about doing a Mother's Day 5K, just need to hold that pace for another 21 minutes :o

You can do it!

I always make a plan to run either an alloted time or distance before I even set foot on the treadmill. I will not allow myself to get off of it before then because I will feel like I did not complete my workout...and that aint gonna happen. I may do more but never less. I sometimes have to talk to myself and say only 3 more songs to listen to and that should be 5 miles and I am not a quitter.  LOL!

You guys and your fast runs - I *reall* need to speed up my running  :(  Is there something specific you do for that other than just run faster?

On a treadmill it's pretty easy, just try to beat your last time. Eventually you get to a point where you are as fast as you're gonna get on a treadmill. Then you enter a race and look at all the people ahead of you that look like they could not run unless it was for free donuts, and you pass them.

The 10 x 10 at that weight was a little rough at the end, but no soreness, just working on form. Quite a few reps at the end I rested at the bottom ::)
