Thanks Man, it felt long. After a mile or so I realized I would do good just to finish without walking. 2 miles in I picked up a partner, a lady my age that clearly wanted to beat me, we exchanged the lead back and forth. About 1/4 mile from the finish I turned it on and got rid of her

. When the line was in site I went ALL OUT and took out about 4 runners to cross without walking at all
That's when I really love a race, when it's really a competition at the end and people get annoyed at you because they are outta gas and you held a little back.
Would like to do one in 24 minutes, and I train on a course that has an august race, shirt might even come off for that one.
Just stopped in to check out your journal. Progress pics look good. Very good back and shoulder development. Nice and thick. That is a very hard to thing to develop for most people. I am sure all the heavy compounds have paid off.
If I could offer some constructive criticism, your front delts look like they are overdeveloped. I had this same issue. What has helped me, is I have given up ALL incline work. I also brought my arms up quite a bit to try to balance it out a little. My shoulders still overpower my arms...but not nearly as bad.
You have the hard part done....the part most guys struggle with...a good thick back. Blast your arms a little, even if laying of the back some to try to bring it all around.

Thanks ID. I agree about the delts, my problem is all my chest work seems to hit them harder than my chest. I've tried different things but my physiology seems to be that delts do most of the work on chest day

And I rarely do shoulders.
