I tried OMAD (One Meal A Day) for a few weeks earlier this year. I dropped a few pounds early on but quickly reached a plateau as my body went into starvation mode so I gave up doing it every day. One of these days I'll figure out how to do it correctly. 
I am guessing it's hard to lose weight when you're 6' 1" and weigh 160.
Just a guess though.
