Squat belt
« on: November 25, 2018, 11:40:31 PM »
Hello Everyone-  Happy holidays.

I have been looking for one of those squat belts that has a chain and a way to secure plates so that you can squat without loading your spine.  I have been trying different squat variants and nothing so far works (for my back).  I thought I saw someone post a link on here once a while ago and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get something like that.

Pretty much anywhere that sells fitness stuff.  Google "Hip Squat Belt".  All kinds of them out there.  I've never done them, but you will need to build a platform or something to do them.

Thank you.  I was thinking about the platform.  I workout at 24hour fitness and I was trying to figure out how I would use it.  I kept finding the dip belts that load in front, but I wasn't using the term Hip Squat belt.  Thanks again.

I've seen lots of people to hip belt squats on the dip station.

Funny to see this on here today, because "dip belt squats" are in my programming this week.  I've got a dip weight belt, just need to be sure I've got two boxes the same height.
