Had a great meet.
Missed my 475 squat opener on depth, but a couple weeks ago I was considering getting cortisone in my knees and just doing a push pull. Decided to make a safe jump and got 500 on my second. Both felt really light, but I didn’t want to make too big of a jump, so I settled for a 5 lb pr with 525. It felt light, and definitely had more.
Bench went as planned 300, 320, 345 for a 10 lb pr. Again, felt like I had allot more in the tank.
Stuck close to the plan on deadlifts. 520, 550, 575. The first two moved really fast, but I’m not sure there was any more than 575. 575 moved like a sumo pull. It was really slow until it started moving, then popped up. Any more weight and I don’t think I’d have gotten it past that odd low sticking point.
It was a really long day, and on those days being in the 4th flight is a curse. Rules where at 8, and I didn’t walk out the door until 7:30. Add a two hour drive home on top of that , and I was junk. No video, those that know me know I talk with everyone at the meet, but it was such a long day that my focus was on getting the job done and getting video wasn’t a priority.
All in all 1445 gives me a 45lb meet Pr.
