Welp...I just realized yesterday how time flies and the meet is around the corner, was hoping to deload next week, but it's my last week that I'll be able to lift heavy and the following week will be some light stuff for a couple days then the meet!!! My bench isn't quite were I want it, was hoping to be hitting 405 regularly by now. As it is, I'll probably hit the same bench I did as my first meet...maxing around 415. I wish squats were higher now, should be able to hit 615 today, wanted to be around 640 at this time, only good thing is I'm consistently pulling 605 on deads, going to another gym tomorrow to pull on a texas dl bar and see what I can do. My weight is sitting at 223-226, so I'll be competing at 220. All things considering if I can hit my same bench and close to my same squat as I did in the 275 class I'll be happy, My dead will be well over 50lbs more than I pulled in the heavy class. Low bar really phucked up my meet prep this time around with the damage it did to my left arm and nerve, took several week's to heal and slowed down my progress heavily. I'll be really focused on my weight the next 2 weeks and making sure not to add more weight. I'm holding roughly 10 lbs of water so that'll be easy to shed, I'll come down to about 219...just enough to make weight.
