Looks like some solid strength gainz Rich! That 185 OHP was awesome! Grats on the 305 bench, the 315 milestone is right there for the taking! Bummer about the 505 pull but no doubt that is gonna go real soon.
Very solid progress

Thanks Shawn. Just getting comfortable with the increased volume and RPE again. I liked the program last time so it stands to reason I should get some results again. I'm hoping weights will increase a little quicker this time with more squatting and variations.

Pause squats looking excellent, also looking jacked in the vids buddy.
I really like the bridge too and will revisit it one day. Didn’t really like the bench programming but I never did finish the program, got sick with the flu before I finished

Thanks Shawn. I think the accessories in the 531 version I was running added a little mass. I'm hoping to keep it.

Thanks Merk. I like paused squats. Don't ask why cause I don't really know either.

Another day done on the bridge. Just some gpp tomorrow. The weights moved well. Paused bench was an rpe8 except the last set I'd call a 9. I don't mind tempo squats but it's hard as hell to remember what rep I'm on. I think I did 9 on the first set and 7 on the second. I went back and did an extra rep when I realised. Enough chit chat. Here's the results

Deadlift with belt
5x365@rpe6
5x385@rpe7
3x5x405@rpe8 vid set 3

paused bench

3 0 3 tempo squats

Back at it again. Took about a week off. I've literally bought the farm so we are moving. I'm trying to stay in the gym as long as possible in between packing and all the other shit that has to happen. Things didn't work out as well as we had hoped and the closing on our house is mid august but we don't close on the new house till the end of the month. Means we're homeless for about 2 weeks and we essentially have to move twice. Not happy about that. anyways, here's today's session. I'm trying a little hypertrophy for now. It'll keep me lifting without beating me up too much. I liked the last 531 template I was running so I'm using that but instead of the 531 for the main lift's I'm just doing 4 to 5 sets of 5. Also going to drop a little weight and do more slow and controlled reps.

start of bastardized what ever this is.

3 0 3 tempo squat
4 x 5 x 225

slow leg press

3 x 10 x 340

SLDL

3 x 10 x 225

leg extension.

3 x 10 x 90 plate weight

Congratulations on buying a farm!

I've been looking all over the GTA and beyond and have yet to find anything that is remotely affordable (land and farm wise). Unless I'm willing to move to Saugeen Shores there is nothing that I can get (Average seems to be 1.2-1.5 Mil and for usually not a lot of land). Of course if I decided to move out closer to Timmins I can get 40 ac for $20,000 (srs). But anything around here....nope.

Personally I'd move out towards Timmins for that kind of property and living that remote however Mrs.M will have nothing to do with it.

  :P

 Whereabouts are did you buy?

We're not moving far. Just a couple of concessions from where we are now just south of midland. We wanted to stay in the area cause we like it and it means I can stay with my volunteer firehall.

Today's session went well. Things moved fairly well so I can't complain.

21 july

warm ups

OHP ss with pull ups

5x5x145 vid last set/ 5x8xbw

seated db press

2x10x50 vid last set

weighted dips

3x10xbw+50

face pulls

3x20x40

ez bar curls

3x10x75

Pull ups were easy today so I'm going to add a rep to each set next time.  That's it

Congrats on the farm buddy! Bit of a stessball coming your way I guess but it will be all over before you know it!
Is there a barn gym coming in the future? 😁

Thanks Shawn. I can't wait for this shitstorm to be over. No plans for a barn gym. Not my idea of fun.

Had a crappy day yesterday in the gym. Zero motivation and stomach was sore as hell. Not sure why. Did 4 sets of 5 x 365 deficit deads and that's it. They moved well but I was just really uncomfortable. Got the main lift in so that's something ::) Hope today goes better. I'm just trying to maintain something over the next month or so.

Had a much better day on Thursday for bench. Some good volume too. Tried out my slingshot for the first time. It's different but I like it.

25 july

Bench press

5x5x225 paused vid set 5

sling shot

2x5x275 vid set 2

incline db bench press

3x10x60

push ups ss with narrow seated cable rows

25,20,20xbw

3x12x170

done. Good pump. 225 was a little harder than I anticipated but I haven't benched in 2 weeks.

New week today. Tempo squats and other quad work. I did walking lunges for the first time in quite a while. I thought I'd go for 135 x 15per leg. Boy was I wrong. Right from the first step I knew I over estimated my abilities. 10 it is then.

27 july

3 0 3 temp squats

4x5x230 vid last set

leg press slow and deliberate

3x10x350

walking lunges

3x10/leg x 135

leg extension ss with standing smith machine calf raise

3x12x90 for both.

done.

Great leg work and benching! 135 x 10 is a very strong walking lunge, impressive to me anyway! Bet they are gonna hit some places you haven’t felt in while lol!
