145x9 on SS OHP?! crazy!

Thanks. My upper work has been going quite well and I'm improving almost every session. Deads are good too and even my squat is going up so I'll take it.

Did week 2 day 3 of 531 today. Deadlifts went well. Hammie's are fried now. Gonna go walk it off with my horse.

I was way out of breath bu rep 10 but sucked it up and pulled 1 more. Legs were pooched by the time I got to leg curls and the final set was junk but I got my 12 reps. A good session overall and I'm happy with it. I'm hoping to hit 10 reps on my 1+ set nest week at 415 but we'll see. May be wishful thinking.

Thanks. I'm sure you have at least a few reps there.

Finished up week 2 today with bench. Surpassed my goal again so all is good. I wasn't really sure cause I was pretty jittery and a little sick feeling from too much coffee. Only 2 cups but I guess it was a little strong. Any ways no harm no foul.

Thanks Shawn. Been working hard on this shit and overall I'm happy.

Just playing a little catch up on my journaling. Took a day off from my schedule for my wife's bday and crammed it in later.

Things went well. 290 felt like a huge jump from 260 once it was on my shoulders but by the vid it moved fine. I'm still only dong 2-3 over on my plus set for squats and I'm good with that. I'd say that was an rpe@8. Small bump on leg press but that was more out of laziness in finding the smaller plates ::).

Squats looked real easy Rich, just the shock of having a heavier weight on the back I imagine, definitely 5-6 reps there still.
Did u train after a nightshift? I have never done that, and don’t think I ever will lol

I had to drag my ass into the gym today but it did happen. It usually turns out ok once I'm there.  Bumped weight on good mornings and BOR's. I just can't seem to add more to leg curls. The first set is great, second not bad but the third kicks my ass.

What did it for me is when I jumped on the machine after 2 chicks and they were doing 30 lbs more than my top set  :'(

No girls in my gym but I'm sure that would be a motivator. I'll just keep plugging along.

Finished up another cycle. I'm happy with the overall progress. Still moving in the right direction overall and no injuries to speak of.

that's it. Finally locked out a grinder of a last rep. Just got after it and didn't quit. ugly but it went. Don't know if I'd have gotten 3 greens on a rep like that but I think it would be close. Now that I'm done this cycle I'm switching to weighted pull ups and lowering reps. I'll work through like I did with the last few cycles adding a rep each cycle. There are a few places I may bump weights as well next go around.

So here's the cliff's on the last week. Deload on the main lifts but worked up to a bunch of singles to see if I couldn't get me some pr's. Squats as you see I crapped out on. OHP got me a nice 15 lb pr of 185, Tried for a 505 deadlift but wasn't having it. I may have been too aggressive in my jumps.455 to 505 may have been a little too much. Bench was great though with a 305 paused. 5 lb pr for anyone who may have seen my previous 300, it moved way better. Tried for 315 but I think I lost a little tension on the descent and I was done. It's not far off though.  Anyways, I started my new cycle today. Squats just are not feeling very good lately. I can see and feel the hip shift a little so that's still an issue to work on. I was at home so I replaced leg press with leg extensions. Not the same I know but something quad  focused. Added 10 lbs to SLDL. I think I'm pretty high on the rpe with this now so I'll be here for a bit. Ab rolls to round things out..

Looks like some solid strength gainz Rich! That 185 OHP was awesome! Grats on the 305 bench, the 315 milestone is right there for the taking! Bummer about the 505 pull but no doubt that is gonna go real soon.
Very solid progress
