You're a better man than I am Shawn. When we eventually move I'll likely be on lifting hiatus for a month trying to get everything done. I'll likely go down in weight too. I never eat unless it's brought to me and fuel my self on coffee. Sorry to hear about your grandma. Food will help get you back to fighting weight. Highbars are looking pretty good. Good leg blast to keep you in the game.

Thanks on grandma, she lived a great life and was 98! Died peacefully so not much more u could ask for. Shit this move has been nuts, but I only have a handful of things left finally before we close on the 14th!

Boatloads of volume Shawn. Must be sole after all that! 98 is fantastic. Lots of memories and experience there. I bet she could tell a few stories.
Sounds like the move is almost over. Hope once the work is done at your old place you don't have much to do at the new one. we haven't sold our place yet or bought a new one but when we do there will be boatloads of work to move and prep and everything that comes along with a farm.

Thanks Rich, I actually had a pretty sore chest after that one. Ya gma was a tough woman!
We close on the 14th and should be able to have the house completely done tomorrow, cleaned and a few more items buried in the snow. Hard part has been the amount of snow we got this year, donít think we have seen this much since 1996. Do you have the house on the market yet? I remember you talking about the move

Yup. Been on the market since the fall. Our place will take a certain person to buy. We're out of town and the price and such. Not in a huge rush cause we're still looking for the right place too.

Lower-hypertrophy
BW: 167

Front squats:
Bar 8 x 2
95 x 5
135 x 12
155 x 12
175 x 8
175 x 7, dumped the 8th

Barbell lunges:
95 x 11
95 x 11
95 x 11
95 x 11

Leg extensions: plate weight
50 x 15
50 x 15
50 x 15
50 x 15
50 x 15

Leg curls: plate weight
50 x 15
50 x 15
50 x 15
50 x 15

Seated calf: 4 sets

1 leg donkeys: (no rest)
8 sets

Dun:

Notes: good session, bit achy going in but got better after warmed up. Added weight and reps on fronts, had to dump my last rep of 175, was digging hard into my collarbone and bear failure anyway
New setup allows room for Barbell lunges so that was fun.
New leg extension/curl machine was a great investment, excellent finisher

So things are already rolling, once the right buyer comes along things just snowball fast! Sweet there is no urgency anyway, that makes things easier, plus the snow should be gone and the weather nice when u move lol. Fuk mine was a shitshow  :o

EZ OH tri extensions: 3 x 10

Dun:

Notes: good session, not very strong again and light on the scale. Spent hours shoveling yesterday and doing a final sweep and clean at my old house. Good news is the house is ready now. The work is done and it finally closes on Thursday. Gonna be nice to get one of two mortgages wiped from the banking app.
Only thing left is to organize my new garage which is a disaster as everything is just tossed in there right now.
Going to get my air compressor wired in next week and start setting up my tools etc.
Time to get my calories in and making progress in the gym!

Notes: highbar continues to feel like shit, everything is tight and aches, having trouble finding a comfortable bar position too. Ah well, gain some weight soon and done with the move so hopefully they will start feeling ok soon.
Deads felt good after though. 445 x 1 isnít much but my itís my heaviest pull in quite some time.
Goblets blew up the quads after. Meh, some good, some bad.

I haven't done highbar in a while but I can't seem to find a very comfortable spot on my back. It feels wobbly. Still getting it done though. Looks like you got it on the deads though. How are you finding the new(ish) deadlift positioning? Do you still get the power off the floor with the wider stance? Lots of volume on the goblets too. I'm not surprised you're feeling it. You must be happy the house issues are done with. Big load off your shoulders.

Ya Iím struggling with highbar, itís actually a multitude of things, poverty BW, hip is sore again, low back kinda hurts, shoulder lol, the move really messed me up. I even switched to my deadlift bar to avoid the center knurling of my OHP on this squat session. I have this on bony vertebrae that keeps taking a beating on highbar. I am going to stick it out though, Iím weak on them so that needs to change.
I am really beginning to feel good with deads, especially after being warmed up from squats. I get a touch less speed off the floor for sure, but once I am moving itís way more consistent right through to lockout. My back is a much better position too and my low back doesnít seem to get half as beat up.
The house closes tomorrow!! Canít wait!
