Thanks for having me guys. I feel the love. :)

Whats up, J. Welcome aboard. Maybe this place will inspire you to finally step on the platform :P
I will get on that platform eventually, John. Scouts honor... The main problem I have as a dad and husband is time. I coach basketball almost year round and I'm lucky to get to the gym 3-4 days a week. That said, I should have some down time in July, August and September to get it done before I'm back in full swing with hoops. It's something I think I'll really enjoy and benefit from. When's your next meet?

That being said, where are you located?

Here's one quote for you to ponder, and it applies to many parts of life. If you don't Step Up, and Do It, you Never Will.

I work two jobs, train 3 powerlifters, Have a small zoo at home (6 parrots, 2 fishtanks, and a cat), a girlfriend with 2 kids, I travel to Meets as a Judge, I'm running 2 Meets this year, and have 4 next year, and yet I manage to step on the twice a year, along with a Strongman Competition.

In all honesty, and many others here will attest to, you're never truly ready when you decide to step on the platform.  But I guarantee, that when you step off the platform, you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

You're exactly right! I live in Maryland about 45 miles west of Baltimore and 45 miles north of DC. I'm not far from York, PA and Northern Virginia is within an hour as well. There are plenty of places that do PL meets around me, so I just need to find one when it opens for registrations and get on the list. That can come with it's challenges as well. I know there was one in VA recently that closed within 7 minutes or so. I hope that's more of an exception than a rule. I'm going to hold myself accountable for getting it done.

Remind the audience what you squatted in August and what you squatted in April, please. 8)

In August I squatted 600 on my THIRD attempt.

In April, I squatted 600 on my SECOND attempt.

I will own 625 in August in Buffalo.

So you better step up your game.

And in Particular...

Hagerstown to Lancaster <2hrs.
http://meets.revolutionpowerlifting.com/2016/07/30/pa-states/

It's a Meet run by Gene and Ame, and It'll be on par with the NY Meets, that a number of IS people have done. And you've got 2 months to prepare and arrange.
