WTF. I can't catch a break with meets this year. I was training for the RPS meet April 23rd, and like a dummy didn't sign up in time. It was sold out, Jamie had a big wait list, so I signed up for an EPF meet in Nashua NH may 21. No biggie, it's a bench meet and I was training for a bench only anyway. Training has been going very well and after this weeks deload I will have a couple weeks to push hard, one deload week and boom it's May 21. Well, not so fast. I got an email yesterday that the EPF meet is cancelled. WTF, so now I'm on the hunt for another meet. Josh Bryant does my programming and he'd like to see me get in a meet this May. He tells me "I'm ready", and would like to see me do a full meet. My options are WABDL in ME May 14'th. They can accommodate me, but all their stuff online is geared lifting and I can barely figure out how to lift raw. They said they have raw categories though, but it's a push pull. Then there is a SPF meet in RI May 15th, they can also accommodate me and it's a full meet. If I push things out there is an EPF meet close to home June 4th, and an RPS meet in CT June 24th. I think I can scratch the 24th off the list. Anyone have any experience with SPF, or WABDL? I'm leaning towards the SPF meet. Even though I've been training for a bench only meet, all three lifts are in a pretty good place, so I'm thinking of taking my coaches advice and doing a full meet. Even though I told myself I was not going to punish myself with a full meet this go around.
Thanks
