65 Year-Old Completes His 200th Ironman Triathlon
« on: December 15, 2015, 09:34:21 AM »
The Ironman is broken down into three parts: A 3.8-kilomtere swim, 180-kilometre bike ride and a 42-kilometre run. It must be completed in 17 hours. This guy's best time is 9 hours and 56 minutes.  He is only one of 3 people to have completed every Ironman in the world.

In 2008, he got hit by a car and fractured his hip and needed a number of surgeries.

“The doctors told me I should find another sport so, I found another doctor.”

At the age of 65, with an artificial hip, he just completed his 200th Ironman.
