Any one run this?  I'm looking for a good PL program, this one looks pretty solid.  I am considering westside also, but there's a lot that I'd have to change for it to work for me.

I'm looking at changing up Candito's program, there's no way my lower back can handle squats and DL's the same day, let alone same day twice a week.

Josh Bryant has done all my programming for just over two years.  He's had me on a few runs of squats and deadlifts in the same day, and I'm in one of those now.  It's more of a bitch mentally than physically.

I know, from past experience, if I did DL 's and back the same day I would be in severe pain, main reason I only DL once a month now.  My lumbar just can't handle it.
I may just write my own program- something along the lines of westside/ candito.

day 1: squat- high intensity, +high volume supplemental work
day 2: bench- high intensity, + high volume supplemental work
day 3: ....not sure...possibly shoulders or arm...it's just an extra day
day 4: Squat: High Volume (55% 1rm), + high volume supplemental work
day 5: Bench- high volume (55% 1rm), + high volume supplemental work

Much like West side- the high intensity day will work to 90% 1RM

High volume days will start at 55% and increase weekly

4 week cycle, 4th week I will substitute squats with DL's.  Then start the cycle again.

But...I'm just thinking out loud right now.

I decided long ago that I hate percentage based programs. Why waste a day when I feel like a beast doing a percentage that felt too easy or struggling through a session where I don't.

here's one for west side that had a decent explanation
http://www.fitocracy.com/knowledge/starting-guide-westside-barbell-training/

There's a bunch of links for Candito in google and west side.  They both have the same general principle, 2 high intensity days and 2 high volume days.  Candito has 2 bench days during the week which is stupid.  Lots of people complain that their bench doesn't increase much with Candito's plan...no kidding, if you can hit bench 3x a week you aren't working hard enough.

This article has great points in regards to west sides flaws:

Seriously, how can you never train real squats and then expect to step on the stage and squat without issue.

Both programs have their flaws, so I'll use the general idea off them and adjust it to my liking.
