after so many years doing this I rarely post about training anymore, but I've been wondering - front squats for reps suck for me as my form gets chittier with each rep, and I cant really do any kind of cumulative TUT fatigue going
I don't like doing multiple hard sets either as my upper back tires out first and the last few sets are ugly
So today I did 8 singles - using 315 (roughly my 5RM) paused for my first work single - and pyramided up to 385 then back down and did the last 5 with 315 again
Obviously this isn't for hypertrophy with that TUL but it seemed like a nice way to get some work in (is 8 reps work?) with FS's
followed this with goblets for rep work then one balls out set of leg press to finish.
Cliffs - today I did singles, I will keep doing this and change the loading params I think, single reps seem to suit fronts much better than reps
