Lol Standing bb press. I'm guilty of being vague in my tracking because I'm used to me being the only person who has to understand. I guess I should be more clear when I log this stuff.

3+ is an amrap set, with 3 reps being the bare minimum. Usually on shoulders I won't get much more than the minimum, if any.

Sunday, 2-22-15

Deads
5  155
5  185
3  225
3  265
3  295
3  335
3  295
6 reps of 3+  265

Squat
10  115
10  115
10  115
10  115
10  115

Still not much to say or see here, another mediocre at best session. :/

Now, back to the music. :)

Bench Press
5  75
5  95
3  115
3  135
3  145
3  165
3  145
10  135
About time to bump the weight up for the next month on bench, it seems just a fuzz too easy at this point.

Press
10  75
10  75
10  75
10  75
10  75
These are still killing me, because I have no shoulder endurance. Anything over five reps and the rest pure pain and want-to. Still, they're getting a bit easier to bang out. Not ready for more weight yet, but soon...

Lat Pulldown
10 115
 10 115
 10 115
 10 115
 10  115
Still light and easy here. Trying to be slow, take my arms out of it as much as possible and get a nice squeeze at the bottom of the motion.

Curls
10 30
10 30
 10  25
See above.

Took a half scoop of ErgoBlast and a scoop of Hemavo2 preworkout, Iso-Amino Sour Batch intra. Had a much more enthusiastic session yesterday. Hoping that carries over into Squats and deads today.

Nice work.

Good thinking on the lat pulldowns. For the longest time, I was just trying to get a lot of weight, but recently I dropped the weight and started focusing on feeling the movement; BIG difference.

Yup yup. On back  movements, I'd just as soon drop the weight and increase time under tension. Not sure if it helps my growth any more, but it hasn't hurt and I feel like it's safer. As for today...

Press
5  65
5  75
3  95
5  115
3  125

7  115

Bench Press
10  95
10  95

I would also argue that you do a bunch of different grips, reverse, narrow, wide, neutral. But when you can do pullups, do those 1st, again with grip variations.

Took a scoop of TSN Pump Igniter and a scoop of Hemavo2 preworkout, Iso Amino intra.

Deadlift
5  155
5  185
3  225
5  275
3  315
1  365
3  315
8 275

These seemed tough today, not even sure why.

Squat
10  115
10  115
10  115
10  115
10  115

Those just hurt. Again. Just turrible.
Got some leg presses in after those, hit 5 sets of 10. 347, 437, 527, 437, 347. Not much, but after deads and squats it was hellish.

Weight- 202.4

Last heavy dead session before deload if I deload. Still thinking about skipping that week and going right back at it.

Eh, probably not. I think your log deserves a bump on both sites. I just need to think of more compliments.

Didn't do anything too extraordinary today, but had a blast lifting. Really felt like I wanted to be there instead of forcing myself through the motions. :)

Bench Press
5  75
5  95
3  115
5  135
3  155
1  175
3  155
11 135

I think it's safe to bump the bench number up a bit next round.

Press
10  75
10  75
10  75
10  75
10  75

Came much easier; still a struggle.

Cable Rows
10x95
10x95
10x95
10x95
10x95

DB Curls
10  30s
10 35s
10  30s

Just some back and bi work. Meh.

Weight - 204.8

Looked like a fun workout! You'll get a higher bench # no problemo.

Oh yeah. Gonna bump bench up, deads... Not sure about BB Press just yet. It feels like I'm making progress, but not to the point that I should try heavier yet because my 5x10 reps endurance isn't up to par yet. Squats, I'll feel those out tonight and think really hard about it. I think they're in the same boat as my press. Getting better, but the 5x10 stuff isn't where it needs to be. As far as max lifts go, I can do heavier on either of those with ease though.

Thanks for dropping in btw.

Something about the warmer weather the past couple of days is making me enjoy the gym more too! Yesterday was legs and I usually hate them but enjoyed it. They had the doors open in the gym and I was sweating affter my first set. Looking like death leaving since I had wiped all my make up off with my towel :o

That's exactly how my session went. Doors wide open, hot as balls, great session. Spring weather has me motivated to 10/10 level.
