The bullshit continues....

Squats
Barx5
Barx5
Barx10
135x5
185x3
235x3
285x3
305x0.....picked it up off the hooks and then set it down.

Mobility work followed up with barbell rolling (think foam rolling but with a barbell and alot  more pain involved).

My left hip was being quite bothersome and my ROM was really not where it needed to be due to. I suppose it doesn't help I haven't squatted in a couple of months....that and zero mobility work no stretching whatsoever.

On a good note, the herns was good about everything :)

It's always rough after a squat break.

How's the new gym?  Are you loving it?
Last meet lifts:  245/125/285
April 2017:  235/130/255

You better believe it....felt like I've never squatted before!

The new gym is...ok, very crossfit/olympic weightlifting driven. I really feel out of place there.....I'll give it to the end of the month and see how I feel.

Merk you always seem to be ridiculously busy! It's a feet that you train at all! Keep up the fight brother! You light the fire under my lazy ass!!

I'm busy?! Brother! You have kids!!!! and really young twins no less! How the hell do you find the time?! You're a Dad, Husband, work, train, PLUS work on yoga and your relentless pursuit of handstands everyday!

I light a fire under your "lazy" ass?!

I think it's the other way around!  8)

Just goes to show we all have plenty of flaming chainsaws to juggle so we can make excuses or lift heavy stuff! It's motivating as hell to see someone else choosing to lift heavy $h!t and makes me want to do the same! Let's get some!
