 Ran out of time

I was hoping for a triple on the 370 and a triple at 375. My biggest defeat was more a mental one than physical. I believe I had it in me but I just couldn't muster the mental fortitude to keep going.

As usual I allowed my mind to prevail in holding me back. I gave up too soon and too easily.

Looking back, I've come along way in a short period of time. It wasn't too long ago I was struggling to squat 315, and 330, and 360.

But looking forward I have so much ground to cover.....

Keep hammering away at it.  Now that you've had it on your back, it won't as much "oh shit!" next time.  You should get 375x3 next week.

 So.

I tried training chest after work on Friday at the dealerships "gym".

 4 words

 What a fucking joke!

Saturdays workout was cancelled due to complete lack of sleep (1.5 hrs) and a doggie apt. The upside to yesterday was having a few with Mrs. M on the balcony listening to tunes and then going drunk shopping (don't worry we were on foot and not too too loaded). Once we got back we commenced with the balcony tunes and drinks....this led to nappy tines on the couch...which led to some slight cleaning, doggie walk, AAAAAND BEDTINES!!!!

I cheated and took some gravol to help keep me asleep, it did for the most part. I managed to sleep 9 hours....completely slept in of course and missed out on my morning workout. I'll see about heading to the gym later this morning and see what I can pull off.

Here's some motivation....

20 days 'til meet.  Only about 14 of them are potential training days.

Go get shit done!

In hindsight, I'm glad I didn't go today....with the whole "taking too much magnesium" thing and all....yeah....

OOOooooooh I'm trying! There is no doubt about it!

As much as I'd love to come train with you both I won't be able to at the least next week. I'm on the 5am - 2pm shift for this week.

So either I'll be training at 4am or 2:30 pm. :((((((
