Shitty workout tonight  >:(  I stopped at 5 today, barely could lock out even on the heavy reps.  All sets doh, last set with chalk. First rep doh, last 4 mixed grip on the plus set. Plan was to hit as many reps as possible without the versa grips today on the plus set and move on to the joker set with the grips.  The bar barely budged on the joker set.  I wasn't getting tight, out of position a bit and I was all over the place with grip.  Just feeling tired as hell today. Rebound with deads next week I'm sure.  I've hit this weight for 11 reps before so I'm not going to obsess about it too much, just vent here a bit and move on.  If I have time on my way to work I'll hit the gym for the accessories, if not I'll get them done in the morning on my way home. There aren't many on deadlift day anyway.

Interesting that you lift barefoot lol
Can you aware me on the grip you're using? Does it do something different using an opposite grip for each hand, compared to a regular same-position grip?
EVERYTHING you put in your body matters IF you want to reach your maximum potential.

I try and use double over hand on every set until the weight gets too heavy and then I switch to mixed grip.  One hand forward and one back, it'll give you an extra few reps using mixed grip.  After that I usually use my verssa grips for an extra set.  Tonight it just wasn't happening though ...

I started doing squats and deads in socks about a year ago after reading some rave reviews from guys about it.  I find it helps but just don't ask me for a technical reason as to why  ;D
