Thanks Dana!  My vids are ugly so I don't post them.  Jim takes them and saves them, but I don't post them.  I think they look yucky.   :(

Deadlifts today.  I tried and tried and tried and tried (yes, 4 times) but didn't get 225.  I got 215 and it wasn't that bad.  But no 225 today.

Deadlifts:
135 x 6
155 x 6
175 x 3
185 x 1 (just once because I wanted to try with commands - it was fine)
185 x 3
205 x 2
215 x fail
215 x 1
225 x fail x 4 (got it off the ground quickly and easily, but each time the bar hit my knees I choked)
185 x 3
185 x 3
185 x 3

My hands hurt.  Skin is sore and swollen, and the backs of my hands below my knuckles hurt.  Weird.

I am making a southwest salad with an avocado dressing tonight and serving chili lime chicken over top.

Bench press tomorrow.

Thanks!  Not good feels when you put them in hot dishwater!  lol..

Bench Press today.  No particular reason why, but I was tired and weak. 

Bench Press:

85 x 6
95 x 5
105 x 5
115 x 1
115 x 2

125 x fail

105 x 3
95 x 6

Sigh.  Really looking forward to the day I can workout without reducing myself to tears.

Sage-roasted pork sausages on mash with the ultimate onion gravy.  Or put more simply, bangers and mash. 

Last night's chicken and salad was awesome.  I will definitely make that again.  I put the chili lime rub recipe in the recipe thread.  So good.

Not working out tomorrow or Saturday.  Will do squats on Sunday and maybe another bench session on Tuesday.  Then that's it till the competition.

Not many woman can bench like you, so be proud.

Last squat session before the Maple Leaf meet.  I got 215, and then completely chickened out of 225.  I had it on my back, stepped back and panicked.

Then I just watched Mr Flexy.  :)

Went to the gym for the first time since the meet.  We did a 1-hour bench session.  My chest and shoulders are sore today.

That was all.  Did some Saturday errands and chores afterwards, then enjoyed some beers with Mr Flexy.
