That oughta work!!

I really had to laugh and I'm not sure if you noticed but there was a dude on the machine between us; the Hammer Strength Low Row.

He had a 35 lb plate on each side and was making so much noise, like he was lifting a ton, and he was doing HALF the weight as you and you didn't make a peep.

Hell, I had 5 plates plus a 25 on each side and I wasn't even grunting and groaning like he was.

 ;D

Nice work today; very strong.

lol.. I didn't notice how much he was lifting but I heard him making quite a ruckus!

I went deadlifting with Mr Flexy today.  Man, weekends at the gym are enough incentive for me to get up early during the week.  Busy in there.  Selfie day in the bathroom too.  Sorry to interrupt this important moment in photographic art, but do you mind if I wash my hands please?

I managed 190 for 2.  That's 10 lbs away from my previous PR.  I tried 195, but failed three times.  I am not giving up.  I am seriously considering joining the Sanctuarians in Rochester this year.  We'll see.  I get stage fright really bad.

Deads:

165 x 5
175 x 3
185 x 2 (first rep was so bad that I did it again and it was better)
190 x 2 <-- my, my, my!

195 x fail <-- that's it, I'm grouchy now

She thinks too much.

Her bench PR of 115 she thought it was 110 and threw it up no problem.

So much of it, for me anyway, is just believing that I can do it.  It's so silly.  No wonder there is an entire profession dedicated to the study of sports psychology.

(I did not like this machine and won't ever do it again.  But the high row machine was taken.  My arms aren't long enough for this and it squished my boobs not in a good way).

Haven't been on the bench in a while.  I am always frustrated that my feet don't touch the ground and I can't get good footing.  But today, I grabbed a couple of the steps from the old step aerobic classes and used them.  Ahh... my feets touch the floor now!  I got 110 lbs.  I was happy about that until I realised I've done it before.  Geez...

Barbell Bench Press:
