Happy hump day!
It should be interesting to see your progression by the end of the month
Hi there! Fingers crossed - it's been one month now. I've dropped some weight through my diet, and I've noticed increased flexibility. That's a bonus right there (I'm an auld woman with auld joints!).
Solid work on the bench today.
Thanks. And thanks for helping me along.

Great work overall Lisa!
Are you starting to notice any changes with the cut? Extra energy, overall feeling better?
Another question...what's the good stuff that happened when you quit smoking? (btw, huge props for that)
Thanks Brian! I am starting to notice changes. The weight is coming off, and I guess I do feel better overall being off the sauce and eating better and active again. It's been a year and three-quarters since I quit smoking. Cravings are long gone. When we went on vacation, everyone seemed to smoke and they smoked everywhere - I mean everywhere! There were ashtrays in the bathrooms even. Smoking in restaurants. It was like the early 1980s again. lol... At first I was a little envious of those smokers, but by the 2nd or 3rd day the smoke was icky to me and I was looking to escape the second-hand smoke. Didn't think that would ever happen.
I will say, my skin is better and my lung capacity is better. My perpetual cough disappeared immediately.
Here's a crazy benefit: it's been liberating. I don't have to set my alarm half an hour earlier so that I can have 2 smokes in the morning. I come home from work, walk right in the front door and get on with my evening without stopping for a smoke on the porch. I can read, snooze, or watch a movie on an airplane now instead of jonesing for a puff.
Oh hai der Lisa!
Good to hear that you're hittin' the iron again! The numbers are coming along. Don't you worry!
Well Hiya W! Nice to see you here! Thanks for stopping by. I'm working on those numbers. Trying not to chase them, but working to get back to where I was.
