Thanks Guys!

I've been out of the gym since Flex's injury, but we're heading back in September.  I didn't mind the break at all, but I'm looking forward to getting back.

Of course, you know me, I'll be whinging and moaning the first month - strength will be down, DOMS will be agonizing, no PRs in sight.  Sigh... get ready for the boo-hoo-hoos!   ;D

First squat session back.

Squats:
45 x 8
95 x 8
135 x 8
155 x 5
175 x 3
195 x 1
165 x 3
165 x 3
165 x 3

I was very nervous. I was afraid I'd fall or drop the bar.  But it ended up okay.

Bench tomorrow.

Really hoping I can be almost back to my old self by Christmas.  Then hit it hard till April and see how I fare.

Edit:  I almost forgot!  Today was the first day I ever pulled my knee sleeves up by myself.  Mr Flexy says my legs must have shrunk.  I felt quite grown up - the same way I felt the first day I tied my shoelaces all by myself.  :)

Welcome back.

A 195 squat on your first day back after 4 months is pretty good.

You've kept more of your strength than I have.

Aw thanks.  It seems I am down 20-25% on my big lifts.  Hoping to see a big improvement by Christmas.

Thanks Kimm!  It feels like I'm riding that bike through mud or cement.  And it weighs about a tonne!  lol...

Great job Lisa and welcome back to the iron.

Thanks!  It's good to be back.  :)
