I've been in the office this week, so this is the first day in the gym for me.

Thankfully, my knee and hip issues subsided (at least for now) and I was able to squat again.  Not a bad session.  Mr Flexy had me use his bands for reverse bands squats and that was kind of fun.  A bit scary and I was skittish unracking and trying to get my footing, but I did like it.  I unracked the 275, but my stance was way too narrow and I was too scared to step out again.  So I bailed on it and re-racked it.

Squats:
95 x 6
135 x 6
155 x 6
185 x 3
205 x 2
215 x 1
225 x 1
235 x 1

Reverse Band Squats:
235 x 1
255 x 1
275 x fail

No bands:
200 x 3


Bench for me tomorrow.  Mr Flexy bought me a pink slingshot for Mother's Day, and I can't wait to try it out.

Thanks Fellers!!  Sure feeling it today.  Actually started to feel it yesterday.  My calves are sore, which doesn't normally happen with squats.  But oh well...

I really have to remember to start practicing wrapping my knees.  I am itching to squat heavier and I know the wraps will help.  I just have to get used to wrapping them.  I figure I'll practice first, then give them a whirl at the gym.
