Really liking the reverse band squats.  They help me focus on bar placement and footing, as I'm not so worried about getting back up again.

So much awesome today.

That 195 x 5 was pure money.

And not every day you see a woman in the gym with 275 lbs on her back.   :o

Aw thanks.  I was very happy with that set at 195.  And the 275 was fun - waaaay harder than anticipated, but fun!

I started to bench today, but couldn't.  I have a persistent pain in my left arm, just above my elbow, on the outside of the arm.  It's been bugging me, with varying intensity, for months now.  Yesterday it was mighty bad, and today it just screamed.  So I bailed and did some back.  Pulling was fine.  Pressing is a no-go right now.

Seated Cable Rows:

Hammer Strength Iso Lateral High Rows:
70 x 8

^my arm hurt at the start of the movement, but then was okay so I kept going.

Thanks so much!  I don't know if it is tendonitis or what.  Rest and anti-inflammatory gel seems to help.  I think I'm just getting a bit long in the tooth!

Wait, which bar did you use?

If you used the Texas DL Bar keep in mind it is 50 lbs, not 45.

Oh!  That's probably it.  The two bars were on the rack.  The bottom one had 2 plates per side on it, so the empty bar above it looked quite attractive to me.  Now that you mention it, the bottom bar was probably on there from you squatting.  So maybe I did use the Texas bar.  The gnurling left perfect imprints in my paws.

Well, I finally started wrapping my knees.  Practised a couple of times last night, and then once I hit 185 today, I wrapped myself.  Mr Flexy wrapped me for the 245 set. I will get the hang of this.  It's unfortunate that I picked today to wrap, as I was pretty weak all-round.  The weight felt heavy every set, unracking and re-racking were rough, my back felt weak, I was off balance a couple of times.  Just not the best day for me.  But, the wrapping has begun and I will stick with it.

Squats:
95 x 6
135 x 6
155 x 6

With Wraps:
185 x 3
205 x 2
235 x 1
245 x fail

Back to Sleeves:
205 x 3
205 x 3
205 x 3
185 x 6

And that, if you can believe it, took 90 minutes.  Oh well.  Not my best day, but moving forward anyhow.
