First day back at the gym since the competition.  Before that, my last workout was April 15th.  Ack!

Squats:
135 x 6
155 x 6
185 x 3
205 x 2
225 x 1
195 x 3

All I was thinking was "wide stance, straight back, head up, speed it up". 

Next competition is August, which is only 3 months away.  It seems far off, but only because summer temperatures have not yet arrived here.  I really need to buckle down and work hard.

Not a great morning.  I planned on squats today, but my IT-band was not cooperating.  It kept snapping and pulling over the knee.  I tried 5 minutes on the bike to warm it up, hyperextensions to get it back in place, but no luck.  After 25 minutes, I finally managed one full very wobbly cockeyed squat.  So I switched to deadlifts.  Only got up to 235.  Frustrating as it really bugs me that I can't DL 300.

Deadlifts:
135 x 6
155 x 5
175 x 4
185 x 5
205 x 3
225 x 2
235 x 1
245 x fail
245 x fail

I am going to roll it out on the foam roller today and maybe try squats on the weekend.
