I won't bore you guys with all the details about my past workouts and how awesome I was or wasn't. If you want to read all that, you can check out my journal over on BB.

I am about 11 weeks into a 5x5. My numbers are small, but so am I.

Here is a cut and paste of yesterdays workout-

 I felt like a beast (a little beast, kinda like an angry puppy) on bench press today. Got all my reps (plus a few extra) and felt good about them. Lunges were lunges. BOR is bugging me... everything looks ok on a vid, but I am not feeling enough lats. I think I am going to drop back to 125 and try to get these right. Wide grip pullups still sucked. I went into these very hopeful, but still didn't get all my reps. I think it's time to reset 20 lbs and work my way back up.

Since I am an eat before I workout guy, I ate a big plate of eggs and peppers with a cup of coffee. I gave it an hour and hit the iron.


Today's workout-

Lunges:
1x5x45
1x5x65
5x5x85

Bench press:
1x5x45
1x5x75
1x5x95
1x5x115
1x135
5x5x155- got 7 reps on the last set

BOR:
1x5x45
1x5x75
1x5x105
1x3x130
5x5x140

Widegrip pullup:
3x5xBW-5 got 4/3/3- time for a reset to get these moving again


BP set 1-

BP 155x5 set 1 2-26-14



BP set 5-
BP 155x5 set 5 2-26-14



Lunges-

BOR 140x5

No need to use the tags here.  Just put in the full URL (take the 's' out of https if you are logged into YT though).

For example:

Welcome to the journals.

I fixed your vids.  Just copy and paste the whole URL; no need for tags the site does everything automatically inclduing putting the title of the vid underneath it.

Watched the vids.  Good form on everything.

Bench vid said 155 x 5, but I counted 7 reps.

You sandbaggin?  :D

The progression of each and every individual that I follow though, is.

Flex pulls a 6 plate dreadlift. Great props. Fantastic pull.
Thigh of the tiger squatting a PR and pushing on with feeling tired. Fuck yeah.
Nuh keeps her goals with her diet in check. Awesome.
Your progress since starting the program. Superb.

My progress is only being driven on by my determination to get further away from who I once was. And your progress along with others who log. Keeps me pushing on.

I had to do my last two workouts back to back with no rest day in order to get back on track. Every time my kids get a snow day it fucks up my whole week. OHP and BP both went great and I got all my reps. It's all PR territory at this point. I had a small reset on rows to really get the mind muscle connection down. I felt like it was all traps and biceps with no lats. I think I have that sorted out now.
