Working on the house is still taking a toll on my training.  I made it back in today though.

Lowbar Squats - belt & sleeves, x5, @7, 5% drop
   45 x 2 x 10
   95 x 5
   135 x 5
   185 x 5
   225 x 3
   275 x 5 @6
   295 x 5 @7
   280 x 5 @6
   280 x 5 @6
   280 x 5 @6.5
   280 x 5 @6.5
   280 x 5 @7
Banded Deadlift - w/ belt, orange bands, x5, @7, 5% drop
   135 x 5
   185 x 5 @5
   225 x 5 @7
   205 x 5 @6
   205 x 5 @6
   205 x 5 @6.5
   205 x 5 @6.5
   205 x 5 @6
NOTE:  Bestbelt buckle belt felt much more comfortable than my Inzer lever belt.
Highbar Squat - w/o belt
   135 x 10
   185 x 10
   185 x 10
NOTE:  much harder after LB squats and deadlifts  :o

This is a little bit different for my training.  All squat and deadlift supplements.  Bench will be on it's own day with it's supplement lifts.  It is tough doing deadlift and squats the same day, but hey, that's how it goes on the platform.  :D

I'm feeling it now.  Not pain, just spent.  It wasn't heavy, but a lot of volume coming back from a layoff.  It'll slowly transition to heavy soon enough though.

Here's how I planned out this cycle.  I'll have to look at the calendar to see how many extra weeks are before our comp in August.  Any extra weeks will be added in the volume part.  I'll have another short vacation in between there too but only a few days.

Oh... and other good news.  Taking a layoff from lifting and concentrating on housework, I dropped a few lbs.  I'm down to 181.8 without even trying yet.  I didn't realize how close the August meet is, but I'll have to crack down on the diet to get to 165.

I'll stick with 181 and come in at 175ish, it's just where I'm strongest. I already got a trophy this year and have nothing to prove.

Outbenching Flex will be trophy enough.  :D

Highbar Squat - w/ belt

   185 x 10
   185 x 10
NOTE:  I still feel very uncomfortable doing these.  They remind me why I switched to lowbar squatting.

Thanks, guys.  The volume is going to go up and get heavier here soon.  Depending on how Thursday and Friday go, I may switch straight to volume cycle next week.  For that cycle I'll work up to 1 rep shy of a rep max and then take more weight off the bar so there'll be more working sets.  Something new I'm going to try.  This week is basically a deload since I'm only working up to about 3 reps shy of a rep max.  My legs are a little sore from yesterday, but nothing out of the ordinary for a day following a squat/deadlift day.

Paused Bench - x5, @7, 5% drop
   195 x 5 @5.5
   205 x 5 @6.5
   215 x 5 @7.5
   200 x 5 @6
   200 x 5 @6.6
   200 x 5 @7

CGBP - x8, @7, 5% drop
   135 x 8 @5
   150 x 8 @6
   165 x 8 @7
   155 x 8 @6
   155 x 8 @6
   155 x 8 @7

OHP - x8, @7, 5% drop
   85 x 8 @5.5
   95 x 8 @6.5
   105 x 8 @7.5
   95 x 8 @6
   95 x 8 @7.5

Pullups - AMRAP in 5 min
20 reps - shoulders hurt a bit in the beginning.  I need to keep at these.  None of the sets were more than 4 lousy reps.  Once I get up to 10+ I'll try adding weight for them.

Off tomorrow, deadlift/squat Thursday.

Give me one of your pull-up reps and I'll be happy lol. Or one of your OHPs

I was wondering what the hell was so special about my OHPs.  I typo'd those last two sets.  I corrected it from 155lbs to 95lbs.  I rarely do them so they've dropped off a lot.

Did you ever get one of those big rubber bands to help you with your pullups?  They worked for me.  Well they did, then I stopped doing them and regressed.  I'm building them back up.
