Way to go on cutting and accountability. Doesn't seem to be effecting your lifts.

I find myself under on carbs too usually because I'm snacking on extra meat in the fridge.

I'm really liking the keto.  I'm never hungry and feel stuffed after meals.  This past weekend when I woke up late and mashed breakfast and lunch together, I had to scrape some stuff together at the end of the night to fill in my calories.  Mmmm bacon!  After two crockpots of caveman chili, I need to find some other cool things to make.  It's delicious, but I'm growing bored of it.

I didn't pee on the stick this morning, but my piss did smell bad when I got done my workout today.  The last few days I've only showed trace or small on the stick.  No metallic taste in my breath yet. :o

I'm finding that with my program the first set x 5 is heavy, 3&4th aren't bad at all. Are you good and warm?

Yup.  Today's prescription was just 1x5 for Texas Method.  My warmups went:
45x2x10
95x5
135x5
185x3
225x1
275x1
315x1

When I'm doing multiple sets, I do 5@185 and 3@225.  I wanted to treat today's working set like a max out day, so just singles from 225 on.

You're right though, I do feel stronger after the first set.  Usually my 2nd and 3rd sets feel the best, 4th feels like the 1st, and the last is challenging.  Normally, when I'm doing 5x5, my last warmup set will be a little more than my working sets.  Doing that makes the working weight feel lighter (at least the first few reps).  I thought of doing that today and maybe I should have.

I think I'll stick with the TM for a few weeks then change back to the program I ran after the meet.  I made crazy progress on that.

185x3
225x1
275x1
315x1

Not aware of that method but with my limited knowledge I would think you want a little more grease in the wheels than those light (for you) singles are gonna offer.

Might be right.  I think I should have added a 355 single in there.  After that, 335 should have felt nice and light.

Here's the set.  It doesn't look too bad, but I was working that last rep.  More than I thought I would.  Then again, it is only 5lbs lighter than my previous 5RM from a month ago.  I made so much progress so fast it sucks to start seeing plateaus.

You can call it anything you want, what I saw was a guy getting stronger.

In an effort to be better at pullups, I'm going to do 30 reps of pullups every off-day.  Today, it took me 7 sets to get there.  I'd like to get the total sets needed down to at least 3 (3x10).  When I do pullups in training, I've been having to use bands for assistance to get my required rep range.  These are unassisted.

Pullups
x4
x4
x5
x4
x5
x4
x4

30 total reps
