I feel like I'm in rehab mode or something.  Back is feeling yesterdays sorry-assed deadlifting but it feels good and the DOMs tell me my middle back needs work.

Just some light stuff and some accessories I haven't done in ages.  The weights or lack of weight shows I'm out of conditioning for them.

Paused Bench Press - 6 reps per set, @9, 5% load drop
   205 x 6 @8.5
   215 x 6 @9.5
   205 x 6 @9

BOR
   135 x 3 x 8

Dips
   bw x 3 x 8

Tomorrow, squat day :D

Officially registered for the Mid-Atlantic State Championships meet on May 2nd.  I registered at 181 but if my cut goes well, I'll compete at 165 again.

Stuff felt heavy again.  I'm backing off a bit and will build back to hitting PRs down the road.

I had to lift at my commercial gym today since my home gym is still a tile cutting room.  Weights felt nice and light thanks to the extra adrenaline from all the eyes watching me.  I'm the guy that puts the rack facing away from the mirror so I can give everyone mean looks.  I think they were thinking "Looks like a squat, but deeper".

16 weeks out from meet

Lowbar Squats - 6 reps per set, @9, 5% load drop
   300 x 6 @7
   315 x 6 @8
335 x 5 @8.5 - Fucking cheapo slippery-ass bars.  Bar was sliding down my back so I had to rack it after 5.  6 would have gone up easy if the bar had decent knurling.
   320 x 6 @8.5
   320 x 5 @9

Decided to play a bit since I haven't been there for a while...
Cable Rows
   100 x 10
   110 x 10
   120 x 10
Hack Squat (PWO)
   90 x 6
   140 x 6
   180 x 6
   230 x 6
   270 x 6

done.  Off tomorrow, bench on Friday.  Hopefully at home.

I know this feel and love it, that's why I lift 99% of the time in a gym rather than my dungeon.

Who's watching the homestead while the tile guys are there all day?

They may be spending half their day working out with your equipment.

DL - 375

If I could take my bars into their gym it might be okay.  The bars there suck bigtime and they don't allow chalk.  I might ask them if I can bring my own in but this is a Golds Gym that is moving towards a Planet Fitness type of business model.  No hardcore gyms within reasonable distance from me in the boonies.

For squats, I'd need the chalk on my back.  Not sure that stuff would work there.
