Thanks man.  I didn't get a PR, but I matched one.  I'm thinking of going for one next week for bench.  If I stay consistent (which I haven't been since August) there's no reason why I should be able to get my 500/300 for squat and bench by my next meet.  Deadlift, well,... I'm working it.  I think what I'll be doing coming up is going to pay dividends.

There is no reason you don't have a good five hundy in you for deads! Same with that bench, you got it in you to destroy both!

Squats....fuck you  :P I'm jellies of dem squats you got!

Conventional Deadlift - w/ belt
   135 x 10
   135 x 5
   185 x 5
   225 x 3
   275 x 1
   315 x 1

   335 x 5 @8
   335 x 5 @8.5
   335 x 5 @8.5
   335 x 5 @8.5
   335 x 5 @9
NOTES:  My math skillz have declined or my comprehension sucks.  I was supposed to increase the weight 10# from last week, but here i did 20#.  Oh well.  It seems to have worked well.  8)  Also, there is a difference in chalk I have found.  The first batch I bought off of Amazon felt more like baby powder and the blocks fell apart trying to use them.  I've been trying to get rid of the shit by using the powder for some things and using the good batch I got from liftinglarge for squats (block chalk my back).  Today, I was losing the bar on the last few sets and switched to the block and never had the problem again.

SSB Box Squat - w/ belt, x5, @9, 4-6% load drop (4%)
   60 x 10
   110 x 5
   150 x 5
   200 x 3
   240 x 1

   260 x 5 @7.5
   290 x 5 @9 - 10lb rep PR
   280 x 5 @8
   280 x 5 @8.5
   280 x 5 @9
  NOTES:

SLDL
   135 x 10
   185 x 10
   185 x 10
   185 x 10
NOTES:  I needed straps on the last set.  Grip was toast and I nearly lost the bar on the 9th and 10th rep of the 2nd set.

Pullups

Blah.  Wasn't feeling it today.  I usually skip Monday since Sunday is one of those nights where I can't get back on schedule from the weekend and my sleep sucks.  However, I have plans tomorrow so I had to do tomorrow's today.  My back is still feeling Friday's deadlifts and I've been tired all day.  Monster drink didn't help at all.

Lowbar Squats - w/ belt & sleeves, x5, @9, 4-6% drop (6%)
   45 x 2 x 10
   95 x 5
   135 x 5
   185 x 5
   225 x 3
   275 x 1
   315 x 1
- I was going to start with 315 but after this warmup I knew today wasn't the day.
   295 x 5 @8
   315 x 5 @9 :(
   295 x 5 @8.5
   295 x 5 @8.5
   295 x 5 @9

Sumo Deadlift - w/ belt, x3, @8 repeats
   135 x 5
   185 x 5
   225 x 3
   275 x 1

   275 x 3 @7
   315 x 3 @8
   315 x 3 @8
   345 x 3 @
NOTES:  Wife chased me out of the gym so I could take the family out to dinner.  The way this session was going, I didn't put up a fight.

Highbar Squat - sleeves
   NONE :(

Don't feel bad about it Ron. You still went in and did what needed doing, and did it a whole hell of a lot better than I could. ;)

I don't know what it was, but the last few days I've been tired and achy.  I felt better today though.

   135 x 5
   165 x 8
   175 x 8
   185 x 8
   200 x 7 - 10 lb rep PR
NOTES:  I thought I'd try for a 5lb PR for 8 reps on the last set.  7th rep was tough and I might have gotten an 8th, but stopped.  Still a 10lb rep PR for 7 though.  :dunno:

NOTES:  I decided to drop these back to 3x5 over the 5x5 I planned on.  I think last week's sets contributed to my flu like symptoms earlier this week.  Either that or I'm a wuss.  Maybe more isn't better; better is better.

Amazing workout! I don't know how you do dead work and squat work in the session...I fail every damn time.
