Oh my F'ING God!  My Inzer belt and wraps finally came in the mail after nearly 4 weeks of waiting.  NO F'ING BUCKLE!  They forgot to put the F'ing buckle in the box!  I just called and gave them hell about it.  The woman promised to get a buckle out by UPS today.  I guess I'll end up going another damn week without using the belt that I need to use in competition.  Ucking lovely.

/rant

What belt did you get? How is the buckle not aleady on the belt? That seems like pretty shitty customer service to have to wait 4 weeks and not get what you expected.  :-\

It was a lever belt without a lever.

Ah, I looked at their site and it looked like the levers were permanently attached from the factory.

They bolt on so they can be adjusted.  Wouldn't have been a big deal if I got the damn thing in a reasonable time period.  I'm kinda pissed that I got their singlet with the big giant Inzer logo on it.  I'm thinking of getting a new one so I don't give them free advertising.  Maybe I'll go with this one...

LOL @ the pug!

Maybe one of these would work as well. More room so maybe it won't feel to constricting...

What has been seen cannot be un-seen.

You are the 4th - 5th person in the last few months I've heard Inzer complaints from.  Good stuff, badly managed.

33 days 'til competition

Deload in the rearview mirror, I headed to the gym to get stuff done for a change.  I didn't break any PRs, but I felt really good about my form and depth.  I missed a PR by one rep and will have another shot at the same weight next week since I'll be repeating this 5/5/5 week to line up with my competition better.  Plan is to line my next deload up with the week prior to the meet so this cycle will go 5/5/5, 5/5/5, 3/3/3, 5/3/1.

Cycle 2, Week 4  (5/5/5 - SQUAT DAY)
Weight:  177 (gotta get DA's secret water recipe.  165 may be possible ;) )
Lowbar Squatz (pounds):
   Warmups
   45 x 10
   45 x 10
   120 x 5
   150 x 5
   180 x 3
   Worksets:
   195 x 5
   225 x 5
   255 x 5 +3
275 x 5 (Joker) - 2 more than I was able to do on my 1+ set 2 weeks ago!
   225 x 5 (FSL)
   195 x 5+ 7 (FSL)

BBB Squat - slow, grinding 3/4 squats but only the bottom part (no locking legs).  These freakin' burned like mad
   150 x 10
   150 x 10
   150 x 10
   150 x 10
   150 x 8

I hobbled out of the gym, drove home, and did SLDLs for the first time in half a year.  Last time I did them I pulled a hammy so I stayed light and really tried stretching them out.

SLDL
   95 x 10
   95 x 10
   95 x 10
   95 x 10
   95 x 10

Tonight will be a lot of stretching again, foam rolling, and I still have to get my 40 chinups in for the day.

Tomorrow, BENCH DAY

32 DAYS 'TIL COMPETITION

My Inzer lever showed up today so I finally have a belt to use for squatz and deadz.  I came home after doing bench and found it on my doorstep.  I put it together and got a rough idea of the tightness and used it for a few sets of rows.  I'll put it to good use on Thursday for deadz.  I'm interested in seeing if it boosts any weights for me.

Cycle 2, Week 4  (5/5/5 - BENCH DAY)
Weight:  177
Bench - paused (pounds):
   Warmups
   45 x 10
   45 x 10
   95 x 5
   115 x 5
   135 x 3
   Worksets:
   150 x 5
   170 x 5
   195 x 5 +3 - PR record by 0.01 lbs  :S
   170 x 5 (FSL)
   150 x 5+ 7 (FSL)

BBB Bench
   115 x 10
   115 x 10
   115 x 8
   115 x 10
   115 x 8

Pendlay Rows
   95 x 10
   135 x 10
   135 x 10
   135 x 10
   135 x 10

Tomorrow, rest.  Thursday, DEADZ

Those are a couple of great workouts. Congrats on the bench PR. We'll take them where we can get them.  :biggrinjester:

Definitely killing those squats. I'm sure you'll do great in the comp.

30 Days 'til competition
I tried using my new belt today, and didn't like the way it felt for deadlifting.  It just felt awkward so it looks like I'll have to wait 'til squat day to put it t use.  Deadz felt pretty good today, but I hate high-repping these things.  The only reason I pushed to 12 was to make sure I had a rep record today.  I think I'm going to add another 10lbs to my training max for the rest of this cycle.  Back and forearms are now fully exhausted.

Cycle 2, Week 4  (5/5/5 - DEADLIFT DAY)
Weight:  17?
Conventional Deadlift (pounds):
   Warmups
   135 x 5
   135 x 5
   165 x 5
   195 x 3
   Worksets:
   215 x 5
   245 x 5
   280 x 5 +7 -  PR w/ 12 reps :pepper:
   315 x 5 (Joker)
   245 x 5 (FSL)
   215 x 5+ 7 (FSL)

BBB Sumo Deadlift
   165 x 10
   165 x 10
   165 x 10
   165 x 10
   165 x 10

Hanging Leg Raises
   x 15
   x 15
   x 15
   x 12
   x 12

Tomorrow, PRESS
