Doughnutguts Estats and ease of tracking log.
« on: January 22, 2014, 06:35:14 AM »
Nothing to see here.

Just somewhere I am able to keep myself accountable for my progression from cycle to cycle.

Solid idea.   8)

How in the hell are you managing 7+ reps on your +1 weeks?  When I was doing 5/3/1, I was pulling about 5 reps I think on week 3.   :)

After reading the book until I am blue in the face and following other journals running the program. It was more or less decided that I intend to make it to cycle 7 before falling at any of the plus sets. This gives me a run up and, hopefully a guaranteed shirt with Pr badges all over it by then.

REASONS
Cycle 1 Week 3
Plus set stats
+1
OHP 35 = 9 (eh) --->> Because I have never performed this lift before in a program
DL 90 = 9   --->>> As most are aware. This is low because of the reset after my back went potato due to form.
Bench 70 = 8 --->> Stalled at 80kilo x 5 for around 5 weeks. My weakest lift and a goal is to gradually get to 225lb 1rm
Squat 85 = 7  --->>> Just because.  8)

OHP will now be a really big assistance to my bench goals. I have always been a great avoider of shoulders.
This was because of not following any kind of structure when first starting out. Consistently following the reflection in the mirror and being afraid to fill the pie hole.

Not now though. 2014 is a goal year. A year of eating. A year of much better numbers than this.

I started this log so I can keep track with ease of the numbers in the 5/3/1 and see how far and much different the figures are each cycle. Instead of constantly syphoning through workouts to find them.

Hi mate.

Easier on the eyes here. This is not my actual journal  :o

My journal is in this area but titled. "dreaming of a 220lb bench"

This is a great place to put your journal mate. Great serious advise along with so much less drama. No brainer if you ask me fella.

DO IT. Good to see you.

Welcome back pumpkin.   :)

How's life?

Fuking LOL. Sup Flex.

This is sneakily updated 3 times a week but without a bump. Due to wizardly edits. :D
My journal is still going strong in this area. Just this is my secret stat area. Still hitting PR after PR weekly. ;)

Life has been hard. Harry sure knows how to bring 2 grown adults to their knees.. But the MIL is here now and we are in a routine. He has the whole day, night thing pretty well sorted.

Training is still getting full attention. And would not swap the new life with the three of us for nothing.

Thanks for asking big man.
