Blood All Over the Iron, Part Two
« on: January 03, 2014, 04:38:25 PM »
The Champ is here Ali movie clip

I've journaled solo, I've co-journaled with two spectacular ladies, I've been fat, I've been stage ready, I've been sick and now I'm healthy.

Now it's time to do it right-with a little less attitude.

My goals;
I am a drug tested bodybuilder who's itching for a come back.
Spring or Fall, I'll be competing.

I need to bring up my biceps, chest, and side delts.

In early November this year I have a leg showdown with a friend of mine here, in person or by pics.

November 2013 I celebrated my 25th year of lifting.

I start this year by dieting, but this time, I have a healthy metabolism to do it with. :)

January 2, 2014

Chest

Hammer Strength Dip machine, PWO- (plate weight only, get used to it, I'll use it a lot)
25x90, 20x180, 12x230, 10x270
3x8x320
3x360-fail, 4x360-fail, 4x360-fail
13x270-fail

Hammer Strength Incline Press, PWO
3x10x180

BB Incline Press
6x135-fail, 10x135-fail, 10x135-fail

incline DB Flye
3x6x60-all fail

*30 min. Recumbant bike* -30 minutes of cardio is my goal every training session

 At the end of my weight session I decided on a split in about 15 seconds;

Day 1    Chest
2           side Delts, Arms
3           Back thickness
4           Back width, biceps
5           Legs

Last time I was journaling I was running a 3 day split as I was getting used to my now healthy body.
I didn't sit on my ass while I was away and worked my way up, needing this 5 day split at this point.

I'm a volume guy and do many different things than others.
Because after 25 years I discovered what works for me and that is odd sh*t.

Welcome to my "come back".

Had to take a few days off to deal with pension and apartment damage stuff.

Cup of coffee and a 200mg caffeine pill and I'm off to the gym, no breakfast either.

Leg Press, PWO
25x180, 20x360, 20x540, 10x720, 10x900
5x8x1,080

leg press Calf Raise
5x10x900

Icarian "Power Squat", PWO
10x720, 12x720, 15x720

BB back Squats
6x225, 6x315
and a big phucking 1/2 rep with 405 before my lower back damn near bust
3x365

I could still walk at this point despite being dizzy through the heavy sets and was wondering if I had done enough.
Re-checked the log book.

Yeah.
I had done enough.

I need a reason to bust ass on leg day since the competition has never shown me any competition in that department.
You're it.
Dream big, go after the king...and that would be you.  ;) :)
