Some chest, tri's and bi's.

Bench
5 sets of 12

Pec system
5 sets of 12

Preacher curls
4 sets of 15

Rope tri press OTH
4 sets of 15

Rope tri press down
4 sets of 15

Took my son to his soccer game this morning at 8am. Stopped by WallyWorld and grabbed some stuff and headed home.

Messed around with the multi-machine this morning. To be honest I bought it about 2 years ago off a friend of mine but haven't really used it all that much. Dirt cheap, he just wanted it gone. Works well, but I haven't really worked with it enough to know what weight to use on the various stuff.

Definitely need to clear more space around it to have room to maneuver.

And, I need more plates for home. Need to pick up 4 45lb plates, 2 more 25lb, 6 10lbs and 4 5lbs. Maybe another set of 35s, not sure yet. Play-it-again-sports has oly weights for 69 cents a pound. Instead of hunting craigslist might just pick them up down there. They also have a pair of Standard 100lb plates....temping!

Co-worker gave me an oly curl bar. Guy he bought some weights from threw a couple in for free and he said he didn't need the extra one.

I think you can set up a Craigslist alert. Got mine all off of Craigslist, a local gym remodeling and garage sales. Never bought a bar or plate new.

Another home gym in the offing. You guys are lucky in most parts of the US. Wait long enough and you'll find some decent CL gear.  Here in Canada it's next to impossible to find weights for anything less than new prices. Even concrete weight is trying to be sold for near a dollar a pound in some instances. It's nuts.

I've been looking at craigslist for a while and also FB market place. Most of the people around here are selling oly plates for 0.80-1.00 per pound. Play it again sports is a used equipment shop so the plates are used at 0.69 per lb. Not bad. Academy sports sometimes has a sale for 0.58 per lb.

Gotta move some of my tools and work benches to reconfigure the garage but, yeah, slowly will build up some stuff to get a decent workout at home. Talking to a welder friend of mine about making up some heavy duty safety bars. Cost of the metal is about $40 and he will weld it for free, just has to work it in when he has a chance.

That is pretty crazy. I've seen some stupid prices here to. Kind of makes me want to respond with "I can buy those new for less price than your rusted banged up plates", but I don't....

PHAT

Upper power

SS BBBP/lat pulldown
WU
255x2x3/160x2x10

SS BBBP/machine rows
255x2x3/180x2x10

SS Dips
BWx2x10 <--Again with the damn nerve cluster in my hand   >:(

SS Pendlay rows/Standing DB shoulder press
180x5/50x9
180x2x5/40x2x12 <-shoulder was not cooperating today. Maybe because I jumped weight on bench. Anyway, dropped weight because shoulder was angry

SS BB curls/DB skull crushers
75x10/35x9
75x8/35x9 <-ran outta time for anything more today

Increased bench by 10lbs and dropped reps to 3. Got them all but they were a struggle. Bumped weight on almost everything else, but those were a struggle too. Might have to hold at these weights for another couple of weeks and just try and squeak out a few extra reps, then bump the weight up and drop reps...rinse and repeat  ;D
Getting heavy (for me) and not sure I can keep up with the short rest times either. Have to play it by ear.

Good looking workout Eric.  Nice job getting your reps on the bench.  Sounds like a solid plan you're following...bump the weight, drop the reps, and repeat.  Sure path to big gains there.

Once you get everything set up in your home gym post some pics of it on here.  I always enjoy seeing how others have their gyms set up.  Sounds like you've got some good things happening there.
If you don't find the limit you don't have to answer that question...you have no limit.

If in doubt, squat and run hills. So you walk into the gym and don't know what to do? Then squat and run hills. -Wendler

Thanks Greg. I certainly hope the plan works  :)

I'll take some pics once I get the garage cleaned up some. It'd be just embarrassing to show what it looks like right now  :-[

PHAT Lower body power

Squats
WU
265x4x3

BB Hack Squat
185x2x8

Leg extensions
100x2x10

DL

Got started late and had to cut short to make a meeting. Laying leg curls and calf stuff got left behind. Upped weight on squat, hacks and DL, dropped reps obviously. Will work with these weights the next week or so.
