I'm doing the BB Deadlift Comp, and the Squat Comp.  Although it looks like the Deadlift Comp is dying. I posted a 555lb back in January and no one is coming close.  As for the Squat, HardnHeavy blew me out of the water with a 500lb squat at 200lb BW.

I'm doing the 3 lift comp here, and looking forward to the results.

But the big point in my Training, is the End of June.  There's a PL comp here in Massachusetts on June 23rd.  Another on June 30th in Hartford, CT, and July 7th in Fairhaven, VT.  I'm planning for all three.  In other words, 3 Meets in 2 weeks.  Hoping for a 450/275/550 (1275lbs).  It'll be interesting. :)

I'm not doing anything lifting related right now for comp.  I am training to do another Warrior Dash or Muddy Buddy.  I've had a lot of fun with those the past few years.

They are obstacle races.  Usually between 3.5 - 5 miles of running.  The Muddy Buddy is a partner race.  One bikes while the other runs.  Then at obstacles you switch off.  At the end there's a big mud pit to crawl through.  I enjoyed the Warrior Dash more than the Muddy Buddy simply because the obstacles were much tougher, and that's where I excelled.  I'm only a so-so runner.

There's one race that's only obstacles, no running.  There are like 100 or so obstacles all contained within an area the size of a football field.  They say it's really intense and that most people don't finish it.  I'd love to do that.  To me, this is the kind of stuff that is really, really fun.  Plus there's always a band and drinks after.  It's a big party.

It's a brutal obstacle course over a few miles.

Same type of event.

More of these competitions started happening after the "Tough Mudder" became popular.  They now even do a Zombie Race.

I've watched videos of those races on youtube and the "obsticles" appear almost silly. The party looks good though. There is one near Marius that I would like to attend but I think he turned down my invitation to do it with me.

@Deralta - my friend who always competes with me wants to do the Tough Mudder, and I would love to because the obstacles look awesome, but it's a much longer race and I really don't have the time to commit to training for a 10-12 mile run.  I know how much time it takes to run that far and make it look and feel easy.  I'm just not up for it right now.

@Bando - the Muddy Buddy ones were a joke.  I hated it.  The Warrior Dash ones were much tougher.  The race I did didn't have a water obstacle though and I was looking forward to that.

@Marius - I think that sounds like fun.  There are a few Scottish games held in KY each year and I miss them every stinking year. :( I'd love to go and watch.  I think it looks like so much fun.
