I was training last night, and the crew said they realized (after I left Saturday), that they should have asked if I was OK to drive.  Apparently, I did look like I was cooked.  Truth be told, I was.  You're right, another 150lbs and I'll be getting into heavy lifting.  1,000lb squat when I'm in my 50's ?

Last night, was a bit of work with 405 on the Bench in the Shirt.  Between Squats and Bench, I'm taking a Deload this next week.  Just smoked and need some time to recover.

Nothing feels broken, I just feel fried.

three weeks later, and I had the chance to go squat with a few monsters.
We worked up heavy, and I was able to go full Kit again.

Took 550 on the bar, 250lbs of Band Tensions, and 50lbs of chains.  so, 850lbs at the top, roughly 700 at the bottom.

THen, the owner of the gym took his heavy attempt.  650 on the bar, 250lbs of Bands and 100lbs of chains for an even 1000lbs.  He turns 58 this month....  Works out to rougly 800 at the bottom, 1000 at the top.

Finally bought my own Bench Shirt.  Well, Shirts actually.

Got a fantastic Deal on them.  Well cared for and clean.  A Metal Shirt, that's about 3 sizes to big for me.  I'd need to put on 40lbs for it to fit properly.  Problem is, with all the goings on, I probably can't even give it away.  Great Shirt, just not big enough for me.

The Inzer SDP Double Ply, that I picked, is a size smaller than the previous one I had borrowed.  I'm 260, and it fits tight.  It'll take some time to perfect, but I'll be able to hit a 600lb bench in it, once I've learned it.  Last night, I took 545 to a 4 board, and it felt good.  Heavy, but good.  My shoulders, traps, tri's, Chest and Abs are sore today.

If you're interested, here's the IG link.
