The plan was to get into briefs and then suit up.

Couldn't get the briefs to seat properly, and they kept forcing my knees in.  500 moved quick, regardless.  Depth was an issue, as the further down I went, the more the briefs lockedup and forced my knees in.

Went to 600, and worked my way into the suit.  Un-racked it 4 times, and re-racked it each time, as something just didn't feel proper.  So, to avoid risking an injury, I opted out of it.  So, no briefs for now, unless I lose about 10 lbs to get into them.

All things considered, I felt good about it.

Until I got home, and my Lower Back lit up with pain when I got out of the car.
Still tender this morning, hoping that it's just irritated and inflamed.  ice it tonight and then relax to let it recover.

training has been interrupted for the past week.
Saturday was a trip to Long Island to judge (nothing like watching a 905lb raw squat in sleeves), and a Multi-ply opener at 1020lbs.
arrived home at 430 am on Sunday, and had to work.

Usually would train tonight, but it's Sabrina's birthday.  Thursday, meeting up with a few guys, and really testing out the Suit and Wraps.  Looking at 650lbs.

However, my Lower Back is still grumpy from last week.

This week, I'll get Thursday and Saturday to train.

tough going, but other than being tired, I feel good.

Tested out the suit and wraps last night.
595lbs moved fast and easy.

Tested out Bench as well, since I had the guys there.
345 flew like an empty bar.

All things considered, I feel really good.

Bench Session on Saturday morning, and Little Man is deadlifting.  He's just over 4 weeks out from his second Meet.

Might as well, put this out there.  Was deu to compete in Maine tomorrow.  Openers submitted, 600/380/550 weight is about 265.

Headed to PA instead to assist at a Meet.

Now that the weekend is over, and I missed out on my Meet, I need to find another one.  Right now, it looks like I'm waiting until November, or January.  It depends on multiple factors, but between running Meets, and assisting/Judging at Meets, there isn't one close enough to make happen.

In 3 weeks, I have the SMB, then there's Hellbound at Hellbent I'm running.  The week after that, I'm involved in running a Bodybuilding Show.  Two weeks after that, I'm in Syracuse, where Sabrina is competing.  October, is the Power Challenge, which will be the first Big Meet I run that used to be Gene's.  That puts me into November to find a Meet.  There's one in NJ (Apocalypse), but I'll likely be running/Assisting that one.  and then, there's Gear Resurgence 2 in January.  6 months away.

My last Meet was September 2018...

Still going.

This weekend, is the Southern Mass Blast that I'm running and Dorian is competing in.
three weeks until Hellbound at Hellbent, that I'm running.
Sabrina competes the weekend after that at Rheta's Iron Maidens Meet in Syracuse.
The Power Challenge is 12&13 october.
Sabrinas surgery is late October, for her shoulder scraping and restructuring. She'll be down for a few months.
November, I'm assisting at Autumn Apocalypse in NJ
December, I'll be at Christmas Carnage
so, it looks like New Jersey in January when I step on the platform again.

Too much going on.

Busy Schedule....
Too Busy, but stuffs gotta get done.

Last night, was Bench night.  Worked up to 275x3 raw, and then slingshot, close grip 315x5 for 2 sets.  Third set, something in my right wrist was pinching and painful as soon as I started to grip the bar.  Shut it down as I knew I was still tired from the Meet and lack of sleep.

Oh, and I got a new tattoo.

Squat night, last night.  Was feeling beat up, and therefore didn't have a good night.  Still tired from everything this past weekend.

Worked up to 475 raw, no wraps, no suit, just a Belt.  Was looking to go 500, but after having trained in the suit for so long, I couldn't get the bar positioned right, and couldn't get my feet placed properly.

Was a tad high with the 475.

Bench Night.
While warming up, I was repping 185, and felt a pop in my left shoulder.  A twinge of sharp pain, but nothing that lasted.  I worked up to 225 for sets, concentrating on form and leg drive.  After 5 sets, I slipped on the slingshot and Close gripped 225 for 4 sets of 10.
Super set cable pressdowns, regular and reverse grip for sets of 10, working up to 110lbs on the crossover machine.
Then Super set Arnold presses and Side Laterals.

Was a good night.

With 5 months to go, I'm pushing harder to get more training in, and better training.

This is a sad note.
I'm not even going to make it the gym this week.  Too much happening.

I will get a quick Bench work out in this Friday, after I set up for the Meet.  I'll be in NJ on Friday and Saturday for RPS Worlds.
Going to sneak in a Bench Session in the Shirt with a few guys.

Then it's two weeks until Sabrina competes.

So looking forward to that.
