Indeed.  September, take a run at beating your numbers.  Then get fully into the Multi-ply and chase a ton.

Took the shirt for a ride last night.  This thing is going to be brutal.  315, wouldn't even move the shirt.  I worked up to 455lbs, and it almost touched.  In all likelihood, I'm going to have to go North of 500lbs to get it to touch my chest.  Awesome and terrifying at the same time.  There was so much Pressure, I was borderline blacking out when bringing the weight down.

Wednesday is Deadlift Day.  We'll see how that suit goes.

Suddenly, 2000 total doesn't look impossible.

And with this getting my training back on track, I'll be looking at that 1605 in September.

On a sad note, I'll be missing the Strongman Comp this weekend, as Gene is having health issues, and I'm headed to Long Island to run that Meet for him.

Well, good news bad news I guess.  I think you would have had a solid chance at 1st place in the storngman comp.  I considered entering, but my training has been junk.  Gene seems like he just can't catch a break.

I think someone needs to hold your feet to the fire to get the raw numbers you've been chasing before you start dressing up like scuba Steve.

I didn't know any of the names on the roster for the Strongman, so it was hard to tel where I might place.

This weekend, is just a tough one.

Sabrina's brother is getting married Saturday, I'm needed in Long island for RPS, I was planning to compete in the Strongman, and there's no one to run the store on Sunday.  Plus, my family has been pushing me to visit my Dad more often.  As well, the office is pushing a deadline for Monday, and they asked me this morning, if I could come in over the weekend.

The office wouldn't be in this predicament, if the lead engineer had done his job.  He doesn't like this particular Architect, so he always sits on his projects until the last minute.  he likes that it causes havoc with the Architect.  and the rest of us suffer.

Tried out the Deadlift Suit last night.  605 was effortless coming off the floor.  unfortunately, I blew out my air just before pulling.  Couldn't keep a tight core, so dropped it when I knew I wouldn't lock it.  proper breathing control and I've got a 650 in me.

Suited up for Squats again last night.  635 to depth, and it moved quick.  Unracked 675, but knew it wasn't there for me tonight.  Tired and exhausted.

Tomorrow night, Bench Night.

Went to a different gym last night and trained with a good group of powerlifters.  One of the owners wanted to try out the Squat Suit.  He's one of those guys that has always proclaimed "If you can't lift it Raw, you can't lift it."  About 4 plates in he realized there's a huge difference in Geared and Raw.  By the time we hit 6 plates, and I had wrapped his knees for a Competition Squat, He had decided he was getting a Squat suit.

When we hit 5 plates for my Bench Session, he was back on the Fence.

I couldn't get the suit to fit properly last night, and even though last week, 455 was close to touching, this week, 495 wouldn't even come within 6 inches.  I simply could not pull it hard enough to get it to touch.  In the upcoming weeks, I'll be working with a few geared guys, to help me understand and sort the technique.

haven't been to the gym since Sunday.  Tuesday morning, my BPPV kicked in again, and I've been working on getting through that all week.  Today, I fainlly feel about 80%

BPPV is position vertigo.  It's like the bedspins when you're drunk, but without the fun of being drunk.  It happens instantly, due to the position of my head, (like I cna't sleep on my left side, or the room spins.  I tilt my head to far back, and the world spins.)

So, hopefully, Monday night, I'll be back in the gym as I'm working in the store all weekend.

My BPPV has dissipated enough that I was able to bench last night.  Hit 315 for 4, and then 365 for 2 and 385 x1 with the Maddog Slingshot.  It went easy and smooth, but my head wasn't feeling good, so I shut it down.

Tonight, I'll try to squat and see how that goes.  Just about one Month out from my next Meet.   Not even hopeful that I'll have a shot at Flex's total.  Still going in, with the aim to hit better numbers than I have previously, though.

Squats went well last night. BPPV seems to have pretty well passed and I'm hopefully in the clear.

Workers up to 495 for a single. Medium wraps, as it hot in the gym,  and I was already tired.

Last rep, my old Back injury twinged a bit, so I shut it down to avoid any more aggravation. Tonight, I'll be doing Deads.

Deads last night went easy.  Back is still grumpy, and BPPV was bothering me.  Still, I fought through it.

Worked up to 515 w/Belt.  Then suited up.  565 went up easy.  Loaded 605, and locked it easily.

Suit is painfully tight, and I'll have to watch my bodyweight, if I grow much bigger, it won't fit.  Very tight around the quads.
