Bench night went good, but had to be fast. Only had 45 minutes to get it done. had to make multiple stops on the way home, and didn't make it to the gym until 7pm.  Babysitting was over at 8pm. To many people wanted to talk.

Worked up to sets of 225x7 for 5 sets.
Tomorrow night, is squats.

Wednesday was Squat night.
Didn't go as planned.  It was the first night that I had planned to test out full Kit.  Briefs, Suit, wraps.  Had 505 on my back, and when I was almost at bottom, involuntarily coughed. The pressure was at a point, where something had to give.  Still finished the rep, though.
It felt liked I had been kicked in the chest.

my chest cavity is very sore.  Can't take a full deep breath without pain.

Hoping it dissipates over the weekend.
Then last night, doing dishes, I had a ceramic bowl break in my hand, and I have a nice gash on two fingers, that will prevent me from doing Deads tomorrow.

It's been a while....
Long rough battle to get here, but I'm 3 days out from stepping back on the platform.
Injuries, nearly dying, Gene Passing, Running so many Meets, traveling so much.  Changed Jobs, twice.

Openers are submitted. 625, 400, 555

Seconds look like 675, 425, 590

If all goes well, I'll take 725, 435, 615

Yes, equipped.

A Bench Shirt, I borrowed. Flex's Briefs he sent me, and a Squat Suit that's about 5 years old.  And I'm pulling Raw.

I had a Deadlift  Suit, that was very tight, when I weighed 240.  Now, I'm tipping in about 270, so yeah... it's not gonna fit.

After this Meet, I may invest in my own Gear.

Good job.  I was sure you where going to have a deadlift pr looking at the couple videos I saw.  You must have just been beat at that point.  I'm guessing just getting in and out of the scuba suit for the first two lifts kicks your ass a bit.

Indeed.  my 555 Opener Flew up. 585 ground out above my knees.

I'll still take it, as it as I stacked 700lbs on my back and took it for a ride.  Sometimes you have to have more balls than brains.

Next one, though...

I really needed this, after not stepping on the platform in more than 16 months, and coming back from nearly dying.

Next week, it's back to working Raw for a few months.

Likely September or December before I can get back on the platform again.

Saturday, was a Good Squat day.  Worked heavy Bands, and Dead weight.

245lbs on the bar, and 520lbs of Band Tension.  Works out to 765 at the top.  Slow Progression towards that 805 goal.

This was Briefs and Belt, no knee wraps or suit.  It's on IG if you want to watch.

After this, it was Static holds, with 815lbs.  One thing I'm learning, is that when you cross the 600lb mark, everyone starts to get a little shorter.  For the 765, I had to drop the Mono one peg down, as I was compressing under it and while 600 I'd clear the pegs, at 700+, I wasn't.  I literally was shorter with that much weight on my back.

On the way up with 765, I felt something pop in my upper left Ab.  It's still tender to the touch this morning.  Satuday night, I needed help sitting up.  Hopefully, just a minor strain and it'll heal up fine.  This coming Satuday, is supposed to be Full Kit with REverse Bands.  Not sure how it will all go.  Hopefully, this Ab issue will be sorted.

It looks like right now, my next Meet is in Knoxville, Tennesse, October 3rd.  Travel down Thursday, weigh-in Friday, compete Saturday, and then Drive home on Sunday.  In all honesty, I'm likely to be first in all flights.  It's an equipped Invitation Only Meet, and there's already 3 guys Opening their bench at 1,000lbs.
I'm aiming for 1800+ and bodyweight at 265-270

Last week, I hit 495 to a 3 board Benching in the Shirt.  This week, I'm supposed to go 455 to my chest, 495 to a 2 board, and then 405 for Reps.

It's getting interesting.

Mad jelly of your secret gym.
It is a Great place to train and a good crew to train with.  THree guys stuck around last night, just to help me Bench.

worked up to 455 in the Shirt, and about 1/2 way down, my Right elbow just gave out.  It's been grumpy lately, so it's likely time for a deload.  If I Ice it, hit the Ibuprofen, and Bio-Freeze, I can usually get through a good workout.  Last night, I didn't get the Ibuprofen or Bio-Freeze, and it showed.

Went Full Kit for Squats yesterday.  Worked up to 515 in briefs, then went 605 with the Suit. Added bands, and put on the Knee Wraps for 695, 725, and 815.

That 815 was crazy.  I recall everything right up until unracking it.  After that, I have no recollection of how heavy it felt, how it moved, or even what happened.  I was in a whole other world.

I had blood spots on my Chest, Traps and Face, from the pressure.

A few hours later, my wife said I looked sunburnt from how red my face still was.  Wicked headache for the remainder of the day.

All things considered, strength is going nicely.

For those that are wondering, I'm currently on 250ml Test, and 200ml Tren E a week. 50mg Anadrol a day.  Small doses, but it affects me really well.  Seing these guys that run a gram or 2 a week of Test and Deca, are just cutting their life short, for What?
