Good to see ya back and on the mend buddy. I have been through this before too, pneumonia and sepsis where I was on a ventilator for 6 days. Damn near croaked myself. Puts things into perspective. Best thing I learned was when I am feeling sick, rest, sleep and donít push through.
Feel the same about training, itís my outlet and Considering I used to use alcohol as my crutch, training is a much better option.

Thanks All.

Spent last weekend coordinating a Meet, and had a great time.  it really is interesting that so many people have been approaching me about running more Meets and even starting my own fed.

Last night, was Bench night.  Slowly getting back at it.

135 felt heavy for a set of 5.
185 for two singles felt like 315 usually does.

did a handful of set of dumbell presses, and that was about it.  Little man trained with me last night as well.  He's prepping for his next Meet in August.

ANother night in the gym last night.
A little Tri, Bi, Shoulders action.

Close grip Bench Press, Nose Breakers, Some curls, and some OHP.  Moved quick as I didn't have much time. I ran out of breath towards the end, and it took an hour or so to recover and feel normal again.

Feeling better, and getting back at it.

THis is going to be a long journey

Back at it last night.

Squats, working my way up to a 365lb single.  Moved good, but I can tell my strength it way off.  No wraps, just a Belt.

Trying to keep my head straight, on this long road back.. It's very frustrating.

Nothing wrong with a 365 single Alex, next week it will be bigger, and the next bigger yet.
When I was sick I couldnít  do 1 push-up on my knees, I couldnít walk up 5 stairs without taking a break. I came out of the hospital skin and bones. I used my wifeís 5-10lbs coloured dumbells for a month, I am not joking.
I told myself when I could walk from basement to my top floor 5 times without resting, when I could do 10 real pushups, I would go to the gym. And I did, I got buried by a 135 single on the bench that day lol.
You are doing fine, just trying to offer some perspective. It comes back, and real fast....one day at a time
