Week 2 l Day 1
194.6

Press

5 x bar
5 x bar
5 x 55
3 x 70
2 x 85

5 x 105
5 x 105
5 x 105
5 x 105
5 x 105

PM session

Squats

10 x bar
5 x 75
3 x 115
2 x 155

5 x 195
5 x 195 vid
5 x 195 vid
5 x 195
5 x 195

Getting into a groove here.  Lower bar felt better.  Probably still not low enough but much better than before.  Hands were in a bit tighter today too.  Will keep working at it.  Weight still pretty light but the sessions are working me.  Going to get hard real soon.

Power Cleans

10 x bar
5 x 60
3 x 75
2 x 95

3 x 110
3 x 110
3 x 110
3 x 110
3 x 110

I realized I am doing power cleans not regular cleans I guess.  Regular cleans would kill me trying to land in a squat with the weight.  Fuck that.  Power cleans will do just fine.  I wonder how long I'll be able to run this weight up.  Starting to feel like real work already. I'm really enjoying them.

Good workout anyway.  Took my time today with squats.  This was the best I've felt under the bar in awhile.  Hoping that feeling sticks around when the weights get up there again ;D

Awesome work bud! Squats are looking better each time as the new bar position get more comfortable. Soon you will be breaking into new ground and smashing big PR's!

Easy one today.  Really feeling back in the zone now.  Will stick to my normal progression that I have laid out for the next 4 weeks as I still don't want to rush this new squat form and going to heavy yet.  I've upped deads a little because I started them way too light and I'm really not trying to fix them right now.

Light Day

Squats

10 x bar
5 x 60
3 x 90
2 x 120

5 x 150
5 x 150

Bench

5 x 70
3 x 100
2 x 135

Getting there Andy  8)

Heavy Day
192.8

OHP

10 x bar
5 x 70
3 x 85
2 x 105
5 x 125

Started with these today to make it part of my warm up routine.  The 125 set was heavy enough but not nearing failure by any stretch.

Squats

5 x bar
5 x bar
5 x 85
3 x 125
2 x 175
5 x 215

Lost tightness on rep 4 during the descent and stopped early.  Suppose I could have made up the rep after but didn't.  Weight felt good.  Still not "heavy"  but it's working me for now.  The bar position feeling better and better.  Put chalk on the bar for the first time as was suggested and that actually helped.  Squats felt great today.

Deads

5 x 135
5 x 135
3 x 195
2 x 275
5 x 325

Early one today since the day will be full of baseball with all of the kids etc.  Took my time though and had a fun session.

That's a good looking session Davey. Weights are creeping up on OHP and deads. Glad squats are dialing in as well. You should be in good shape for a long progression as things feel better each session.

Volume Day (part 1)
192.4

Bench

10 x bar
5 x 85
3 x 120
2 x 155

5 x 175
5 x 175
5 x 175
5 x 175
5 x 175

Most of these were pretty tough today.

Power Cleans

10 x bar
5 x 60
3 x 80
2 x 95

3 x 115
3 x 115
3 x 115
3 x 115
3 x 115

Getting into a groove with these.

Squats will be either tomorrow morning before work or tomorrow after work.  Either way, tomorrow.

Squats

10 x bar
5 x 85
3 x 125
2 x 165

5 x 205 - Got 4 and lost tightness again.  Decided to make them sets of 3 from here on out and still get my 25 reps. Weight felt light but seems to be a trend on losing all tightness around rep 4.  Sets of 3 went really well.
3 x 205
3 x 205
3 x 205
3 x 205
3 x 205
3 x 205
3 x 205

A lot of vids up on youtube but really these weights are not that heavy.  More just to keep myself checking form and trying to drive that bar further down so putting up vids for feedbabck on that.  Bar seems to be getting into a better place.  Was feeling more comfortable with it.

Squats didn't happen yesterday due to life stuff getting in the way.  Could've done them last night when I finally got home but decided to wait 9 hours and do them rested.

Even lighter squat day tomorrow
