skip the bench if you want and just squat/dead

Can't really skip a bench or get disqualified, but dang, Flex, your total is what counts, and you'd throw up some great numbers.

Actually, depending on the comp, you can skip the Bench.  Instead of doing the "Full Power" class, you do individual Lifts.  The Squat Division and the Deadlift Division.  It's more expensive because you're aiming for two trophies instead of one.  And some comps skip the Squat.  It's called "Push/Pull" meets.  Just Bench and Deadlift.  There too, you can often just sign up for one division.

With your numbers Flex, You've got no reason to not do the Full Power division. 

Looking forward to June 24th and seeing the results.
Here's last years results

The Open Class was won by a guy weighing 227lbs. his numbers were: 485 squat, 286 bench, 562 Deadlift. 1333 total
Second place went to a guy with these numbers: 451/297/462 = 1210lbs.

So... with your numbers now, you're in the running.

Just some food for thought, Flex... from your journal I saw-

BB bench- 275
Squat- 475
Deads (raw)- 405
Deads (w/chalk+belt)- 475.

So, raw= 1155
W/belt+chalk= 1225

I'm not going to give you crap, because I don't think I've ever been in any sort of competition, but those are some solid numbers I think.  I was in and out of your journal without you even noticing! :ninja: rules the night!
