I'm the opposite; generous to a fault.

I'm cool with that though.  You can can't take it with you when you die.  No sense hoarding it.

I hope you know I'm just poking fun.

My favorite comedian was the great Jack Benny. If you are unaware, ask Lisa, she'll know of him.  ;)

I can't afford the $100.
Considering I'll be driving 6 hours, dinner and hotel for my Lady and I, plus food for the day.  On top of that, it'll be three weeks out from the Meet that I'm putting on, and cash will likely be tight.

My training is going excellent, and once the motivation kicks in, I'll start making better gains.  I've also found someone who's not afraid to give me distinct and correct advice on how to fix my form, or Deads.  If that works, I'll be locking 650 in August.

She doesn't.  She does understand the gym, and she's been to a few of my Meets.  She understands why I go to the gym, at least.  She has said that she wants to get back to the gym, so we'll see how that goes in the future.

She's going to NY with me, to support me, cheer me on, and be with me when I do it.

Yes, she really is an awesome lady.

OK, that's cool.  Well Lisa can keep her company (and vice versa) as I don't think Lisa will be competing.

Still in on this.

Looking to compete with Bando in 165... (maybe 181).

I have hit the following in training recently (last few weeks)

285 squat
250 bench
340 squat

Total 875.

These are not actual 1 rm, but what I have hit in training for heavy singles. I have recently switched to Sumo and my back and hips feel healthy again (for the most part). I could probably hit 900 now.

930 will give me a wilks of 300.... just enough to not embarrass myself. My goal is to hit 1000.

It will be good to meet a lot of you guys (and ladies). I'm really looking forward to it. My work already knows I'm taking the time off. Val and I will probably spend a long weekend up in the area.

Speaking of Val, I am trying to get her to enter. Every once in a while, I can get her to train the big 3, but she just isn't biting. She could easily open a 600 total too.

You don't need to worry about me, you need to worry about Bodyhard. He's dancing between our weight classes and jamming around what Flex and DA are doing.

I will do my best to stay out of his division

LOL.... I'm not even worried about BH. He's going to warm up with my closing numbers anyways. But you Adam... I think you are someone I want to keep on pace with We are very close on a lot of our numbers, though you still have the edge.

You I think I can catch. :)

I'd be happy and impressed as hell to see this.

I'm going for a 1500 total in the 275 class.

If bodyhard beats me I will buy him beers and pizza.

Same goes for Alex, but we all know he won't beat me.  ;)

BH's #'s are gonna be silly.

That's all I have to say about that.

Dont count me out ;)

If all comes together, I plan on going.

I just have to keep from hurting myself.  ;)

Not sure what I will total.   If I can put it all together, I could do some decent numbers, but who knows.....I waffle between strength and aesthetics too much.

Let me know ACC if you do plan on staying up for the weekend. I'm pretty close to Rochester (about an hour and a half away).

I have 7 months, and only one comp between now and then.  I'm eating my way into the 275 class, which puts you and I, toe to toe.

I'm working on making it a weekend trip, because the 6+ hour drive home that night was brutal.  Plus, if it keeps going the way RPS Meets go, it'll be a 2 day event.
