Those Troy interlocking plates are really nice! My goal one day is to have Ivanko deep dish plates! I've seen some 35's on CL, but I want the big wheels. Let us know what you think of that Rogue utility bench. I'm kinda in the market for a better bench.

Plus, of course. PICS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN!  8)

Rack is in...
Deadlift platform, wrapping up this evening...

Actually may start training tonight as well, at the house.

Pics soon..

I wish I had some fucking decent building skills :) my god, the problems I have are ridiculous and trivial. I swear to god, I measure twice, three times or more prior to cutting...

Anchor bolts into the concrete.. I follow various youtube instructions.. and the issues I have are.. my god.. embarrassing. At least one side is locked down... the other side the damn bolts are crossthreaded or something.. bolts won't go down.. or come out (duh) so the left side is a little loose..  /sigh

It never fucking ends.. hah..  I installed a home dishwasher a few months back... replacement.. like for like model... yea, I needed help. I don't get it... shit looks easy... reads easy... I know what I am doing.. I just can't make it happen like it's supposed too.. haha.

Just give me a computer... some wires... and I can make magic happen...  but this other homeowner stuff... it's for someone else.. haha..

I feel you brother, the struggle is real. I have definitely been there, but you live, learn and get better. Good luck!

Awesome start Trev.  Are you using lag bolts?  They should make their own threads as they tighten down.

Yea..
Awesome start Trev.  Are you using lag bolts?  They should make their own threads as they tighten down.
Anchors..  I drilled their entire length so I can tap em down if I want to move it etc... so, they just expand as you pull them up via tightening the nut...  I'll get it all fixed up.. I have duct tape.. lol

Deadlift platform is finished as of last night, did a couple sets on it.. good stuff.

TV is up.

Soundbar is up.

I owe pics.. I know :)

Yea, thanks. It came together quite well actually... the place looks better now as I have cleaned it up a bit more and added bench etc.

Decided to not really worry about the walls, it's a basement setting, I am fine with it looking like a basement... For now.

Amazing however, the amount of work I can get out of a barbell...  I really am only struggling with a couple of areas for training exercises at this point.

I am also thoroughly enjoying not needing to worry about gym hours. My training sessions are much quicker... with more intensity and focus..

Anywho....

All things that I have experienced with having a home gym. I love being able to just say "F it, I'm gonna go lift at 11:30pm!" It takes away lots 9f excuses. Like the other night, my newborn twins were fussy so at 10:30pm we went out for a session!
