My goal is for a 600 squat this August.

And your gym squats don't fucking count because your depth sucks.  :P

Yes I am serious.

I still love you though.

Ha!  Well I will be nipping at your heels!   Yes my mobility sucks....but I am working on it.   Certainly not a strength issue.  While I dont think I will ever squat as deep as you, I can hit parallel.  (you are not getting extra points for going deeper ;) ).    Last squat session I experimented with standing with my heels about 4" apart.    It actually felt the best so far.   It might not help strength....but I am just doing what I can do.   I know you know what it is like working around stuff.

In the end, I am just busting with you.   I'll be the first inline to congratulate WHEN you break 600.   Hell.....you need to quit freaking loafing and get there.   Seems like you have been coasting lately...... :o ;D ;D ;D ;D

Certainly not a strength issue.

No question you are way stronger than me.

In the end, I am just busting with you.

Likewise.

They are already laced up and in my gym bag.

I will be doing squats tomorrow morning but I doubt I will do anything worth recording.

All my lifts are in the toilet right now....   :(

Nice shoes Flex,  I bought some new lifting shoes today also.   Went out to get some converse,  ended up with vans.  The pain low top converse were on sale for $60!!!!.......f'n supply and demand. The vans were on clearance for $20 :)  the vans are pretty much identical to the converse, so I'm happy with the find.   Also bought some new elbow sleeves.   Maybe one day I'll splurge on some real lifting shoes.

Oh yeah,  I know,  I was looking at several pair on line and they are pricey.    Have you ever worn lifting shoes before?

Yeah I had a pair of suede Rogue Do-Wins for the last few years.

They were great but showing some wear....

Meh, get a little spark from the new shoes and throw on a couple extra 10's or 5's

Nice shoes Flex. How much of a difference does the raised heel make as opposed to Chuck's with their hard flat heel?

In another time and and another site I remember declaring that I did not understand why one would want or need all this fancy shit in the gym (I-pods, special shoes, lifting assistance stuff, etc.).
You replied that you lifted for many years with nothing as you had nothing extra, now you had more financial leeway (props to you-srs) you were going to buy wutever you wanted.

It took me awhile to get it but I eventually did.
Its a treat for you and your hobby, you earned it...whoGAF wut you spent on it.
