You doing Jamie's meet in VT?  I'm working on that Saturday or that's where I'd be there.

Depth looks there, not buried, but just there.

Yes, and I agree. I have a hard time getting too much deeper. Still working on form and all that jazz, but lower back gets extremely cranky.

I may need to bring the bar higher, as it stands now I keep it on the shoulder blades vs on top of the shoulders/on the traps.

Yes,
That is excellent. Sabrina and I will be there, along with a few other friends of mine that are competing. It's going to be a Great Meet.  We're all staying at the Holiday Inn in Rutland.

Wasn't sure if you were weighing in the day before and competing the next day. Or are you making the round trip.

Aiming to keep the expenses down a bit, so round tripping it and weighing in that morning...

See you guys there, looks to be fun!

Clearly a case of counterfeit plates....must be China knockoffs and who know what they actually weigh (probably shaved a good 8lbs off each plate to save on costs)  ;D

OMG... dude, I had a guy get a "PR" once at one of the gyms I used to lift at, Snap Fitness (shit hole). He was using the rubber plates and, well, I didn't like him at all.

I spotted him.

He was psyched for 225. I told him just that, these are made in China, did one side seem heavier than the other ? " Yea, come to think of it.."...  I sold him that the lift was probably just 212-215...

Crushed him.

Crushed him.

I'm going to hell.
