Squat Depth - check it.
« on: November 14, 2016, 07:58:55 PM »
405 tonight, testing some weight for up and coming meet.

Never done a full meet, only push/pulls.

Cons:
* Camera is on a little bit of an angle
* Sweats are thick has hell in the pockets (aka, the hip crease area)

Pros:
* still looks like I break depth here..

Give it to me straight.

Not the best pic but I would say that would get you three green lights in RPS.

Depth is fine. Math is not. Looks a bit short of 405 on the bar  :-X

I'm with everyone above.
White light the Depth, Red light the Math.
Do not fear The Iron, for it does not care.

No no, there are 2 x 5lbs on the outside there.. trust me, I only have 4 of them, the interlocking plates may make it look a bit thinner..

Either way.

Making fun of my poverty squat...  shit. No worries, I can take  it.

Actually quite happy that I should hit 1200 on my first full meet here in a couple of weeks...

I was just responding to you saying "Either Way" because that is Shoenice's signature line.

LOL I'm not making fun of your poverty squat just the math :D

Thought you were asking for a 405 depth check. Then saw pic.

Good depth but honest question here- why wraps with the weight in the pic?

Yea, I am missing something.

So 3x45s (315), 25(365), 10(385), 2nickles per side (405)...  are the interlocking plates throwing the visual off that much ??  lol.. shit.

And, cause, like, 405 is my poverty squat... and it's fucking heavy as hell..to me... lol

Or are you fuckers just continuing to break my balls?  lol...

Ahh looked like 305 in the pic. I blame the camera man :D Why not just put on another 45? Looks more alpha  8)

405 is still kinda heavy for me too, Trev.

What's you plan on squats for a meet?

At first I thought it was the nickles you guys thought I couldn't add.. never mind the 45s... damn.

And, well, I only own 6 of the 45s. Home gym problems :)  more 45s are coming...  always scavenging for them on craigslist. I have 6 x25s that helps.. but it ain't perfect.

Anyhow..   good episode tonight, crash time.
