Only reason I did it was because some kid was strutting around puffing his chest out after getting 315 x 1 wrapped.  ;)

Is this in Buffalo annually?  Or a one time thing?  I won't make it this year, but I have family there and that would be the ultimate trip.

First time at this particular venue, but yes there is an RPS meet in Buffalo every year in August.

Welcome aboard Mr Gator!  Good to see you here!

I like the idea of competing in Buffalo, as it's only about an hour and a half from us.  We'd still get a hotel for the weekend, but it's nice to know we don't have 3 or 4 hours' travelling on the way home Sunday.  Hope the loonie picks up a little more before then!
Last meet lifts:  235/130/255

Thank you much!  I'm excited about the prospect of competing there.  My family has never saw me compete, and my daughter has never been to Buffalo!

If I'm going I might as well lift, I'm at 183 so would not have to worry about making weight. Unless of course I somehow gain 7 lbs 2 weeks out like I did in Feb.  :wtf:

Ill be weak as a kitten by then but good luck all :)

How long do the Candito workouts take on week 1? I think my summer calendar is somewhat set, weeks 2-6 I could train 4-5 times a week, but week 1, I'm working several 14 hour days and can grab an hour in the gym, but not much more than that.

They are not bad. Its really a 5 week program with the 6th week the meet week. Google the spread sheet and take a look- I usually don't lift longer than  an hour unless, like today, I'm doing a bunch of strong man stuff.
