My best is 29 at 195lbs.   Funny as I have gotten leaner, even though I now carry more lean mass, my bench strength has suffered the worst.   I have no idea how many I could do now...but I do know it is less.

There is a part of me that is bothered by my loss of strength...but I have come to accept that this will be part of the territory of getting and staying leaner year round.

To me, max reps is all about speed as you get into higher reps.   Failure seems to set in closely related to a similar TUT.   Just a thought for guys going for higher reps.

Partially bummed a bit.. lack of interest.

Maybe if I just 'manage' the competition and bow out..  might be a bit more interest ??

Anyone? Bueller..?

I will give it a shot on Tuesday if my shoulder plays nice but no way will I get 19.

But I'm a good sport so I'll throw up a vid.  Maybe some of the other guys can gloat when they whoop my ass.  :D

225 is a great number to separate the men from the boys.

My 1 RM is 245... So I'll spectate while the men fight it out, the ones who still have shoulders.

We have a whole year right? What's the rush…….
I'll throw a vid up sometime in the next week. Think I can get at least 11 at 225.
What will be more interesting is how far I can take my bench over the next year, which should translate into more reps at 225.

This, I'll try to get to this eventually.  I'm also training for a meet so right now's not a good time.  I'm interested in how many I can pump out

Tough thing to fit into my programming, but at some point this year I'll play.  I don't know how many I could do, but I don't think it will be very impressive.

I've been training for higher reps lately so I might be able to put a dent in 225. I feel like I could get maybe 16 on a good day, or 10 on a crappy day. Maybe I'll give it a try soon.  :)
Best lifts:
Bench- 380, Squat- 365, Deadlift 505
Honourable mention- Incline bar 350

This is from last year.  I think I had a couple more in me if I had a spotter.

I'll try to take another vid for this comp next month before I start my cut....
