Thank you Bando and DJ!  Yes, that all definitely seems to be true, very wise advice!  I've missed more workouts in the last few weeks than I ever have since I started lifting three years ago.  And I think it totally, totally added to my stress.  Gym time seems to be my sanity break and "me" time, I just hadn't realized how much since I had never missed more than a day or two here and there before. I had a normal workout schedule this week, my strength feels like it's back, and that makes me stupid happy lol.  I even bought myself a sling shot and had way too much fun playing with that.

with all the stress in my life right now, I'm really unmotivated to get started.

just went through a very stressful time. If you don't stick to your guns with your lifting discipline, it compounds the stress. If you stick to your goals, it reduces it. I took the wrong approach last time.

Holy smokes!  This is what I just said to Jim.  I made a bad mistake starting work at 5 am each day.  I ought to have been at the gym at 5 am.  This week I have learned that I accomplished more in the 10 hours following a workout than I did in the 15 hours without any workout.

Many may know of my cut. As i basically called myself out for becoming a fatass

Still chipping along and actually will most likely extend out a few more months

The thing that has sucked the most is the feeling of losing size.

Im getting used to being hungry alot so that is passing

Im trying to get to a point where my bodyfat is manageable. That way any future gains will not have me to go through a drastic cut again. Unless i choose to, of course.

So far progress has come, albeit slowly.

BOOM!!! That's it for me right there. I'm not a real big guy to start and when I notice that I'm losing size I have a real hard time continuing to cut.  :banghead:

Good luck to everyone. I'll be joining you all after December.

Ive kinda settled in to where i eat like im supposed to all week. Then my weekends i am much more liberal. It may slow me down a little, but it is helping fighting off the hunger as i roll on until friday night.

I still try to be sonewhat careful on the weekends though

Ewww.... a cutting thread! In on this...

As you all know we have been building a new house and finished up and will hopefully be moving next week. For the past couple of months I have pretty much been at the new place till late evening so diet has been complete shit and mostly consisting of Subway or a run through Taco Hell for dinner each night.

Haven't been able to keep normal gym schedule for running around getting things lined up for the house. Been really hit and miss the past two weeks.

I have managed to keep weight pretty much under control but I always put on some lbs during the winter months so I plan to drop back down to 126 like I did in the spring. Weighed in this morning at 132 on the dot. So that is only 6lbs. Watching what I eat this week and once I get settled in to the new house I will track my food like I did before.

Trust the process!!! LOL!!

SRS!! My weight on cut would fluctuate like 2 or 3lbs a day and then drop back down.

^ Wut she said.  Usually when I'd see a bump up a nice drop is right behind it.  I was 179 two days ago from water bloat and I was 173.8 this morning.  I'm not happy with the extra flab I've put on since the meat, but the progress in the gym makes it worth it.

I did start taking creatine again after about a month off so maybe a bit of water retention...

Flex, patience is a virtue on a cut.

Dude don't weigh yourself for at least 3 weeks or so.

Otherwise you will go crazy

DJ is dead on, weighing yourself everyday or even a few times a week is bad.

I dunno about that.  Kept a sheet of graph paper on a clipboard next to my bathroom scale when I lost weight in the past.  Looked like a stock market graph, but the best thing was to see trends over a few weeks.

I'll be throwing my hat in this ring either next week or the end of the month. Going to commit to a 90 day run, take a break for the holidays and reevaluate at new years.

Sounds like a plan. Good luck
